🟣🎹 PERLEVENN: THE WARSAW SERIES A curious DJ walks into Warsaw… and finds a pianist, composer, and sonic sculptor: Zuzanna Całka. From ghostly felt piano to processed tape hiss, the Nils Frahm-approved artist builds inner architecture out of sound – delicate on the surface, rich in grain and gravity underneath. In this new episode, we talk with Zuzanna about improvisation as ritual, Warsaw and Poland's music scene vs. Berlin's, the echoes of classical training, and her new record.

Perlevenn: a series of curated playlists and DJ sets by artists around the world. This time, pianist, composer and radio host Zuzanna Całka shares some of her favorite Polish music. Born and based in Warsaw, Zuzanna has followed its music scene closely for years, both as an artist and as a deeply curious listener. She’s part of a growing movement of introspective and experimental musicians from the region, and was recently selected by Nils Frahm for the Piano Day Vol. 4 compilation. Her Perlevenn playlist offers a heartfelt glimpse into that same universe: ambient piano, modular textures, lo-fi songwriting and jazz-infused Polish gems. Music to slow down with. PERLEVENN FM 2nd EPISODE: DJ MoCity B2B Nash (New Delhi) AfterHours mix. A DJ set series curated by DJ Døgenikt from Oslo, Norway. Mohammed Abood Uraibi, best known as DJ MoCity, has been one of the main figures in the Indian alternative music scene since the early 2000s. The Iraqi-born DJ, MC and promoter is behind leading record labels, festivals, radio channels and club nights in New Delhi and Dubai - in hip-hop, reggae, jazz and world music. In 2023 he played the Perlevenn Sessions in Oslo, and now he's back alongside his trusted New Delhi companion Nash. Delhi based DJ and selector, Nash, is as versatile as he is talented. Flowing through Afro, House, Disco, UK Funky, Garage, Breaks, Breakbeat, Electro, and Left-Field Techno, his sets are a celebration of underground music and its people. His affable aura behind the decks and on the floor has seen him feature at a genre-defying mix of Indian music festivals, from the Jazz Weekender to Magnetic Fields. In 2023, Nash played in Chandigarh & Delhi at the Boiler Room India tour.
