UK EV charging grants changed significantly on 1 April 2026. The government increased the maximum OZEV grantfrom £350 to £500 per socket — covering up to 75% of installation costs for renters, flat owners, residential landlords, businesses, and properties without driveways. Five schemes are currently open.
