The purpose of this podcast is to challenge the artists’ way of thinking. To answer complicated copyright questions. To demystify the intricacies of the US copyright act. To empower creatives to get the most out of their valuable copyrights. One of the more popular and controversial topics in music, today, particularly for older (catalog) artists, is the complicated and confusing process of grant termination. Important litigation is in the courts today. A swirl of opinions make it very difficult for artists to know who to trust, who to believe, and what to do in order to protect their valuable copyrights. So many people, so many artists, are getting bad advice right now. I
