Recorded in 2014. The sound was build on patches of ZynAddSubFX synth. A few years past I took research of subject matter of experiments on human in history of a science, looked for materials in different sources, and echoes of this interest have penetrate in the title, though music quite quiet.

I wrote the composition under the impression of surprisingly lively book Tove Jansson "Everything about the Moomins". The book is huge, almost 900 pages, and it's so well written that I want to re-read it again to immerse myself in the fantasy world of the pretty Moomin family. There was a period when they had to live in harsh conditions in the north, where the winter was fierce and the great terrible Mora wandered through the forests - the incarnation of cold, and tried to harden the hearts of all the inhabitants of those lands and kill all the living by cold. The Mumi family were forced to jointly resist the terrible Mora, and they survived in an unequal fight and after a fierce winter waited for the spring, when the floods of warmth and life flooded everything around, awakening the nature with myriad green leaves, field flowers, chirping birds. And thawed the souls, in the family quarrels calmed down, they could enjoy life on the sunny glades in the fertile land :)

The stars flickered above the waves, and the Argonauts swam in the unknown seas, Orpheus playing artfully on a flute prevented the loss of the intellect of the heroes, who wanted to lure us into captivity insidious devil-siren roulades, their howls cut through the melody of the soul, and chained the ears of the companions to the harmony of the native Hellas, so protecting the comrades from the predatory abyss...

Instrumental multitrack improvisation. *************** Santa Maria is the flagship on which Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492. It was a three-mast caraca not more than 25 meters long. Santa Maria crashed on Christmas 1492 off the coast of Haiti. The wreckage of the ship was used in the construction of the settlement, founded in this place on January 6, 1493. The settlement was called La Navidad (Spanish La Navidad - 'Christmas') by the date of the death of Santa Maria. The modern name of this city is Môle Saint-Nicolas.
