Adriaan Persons is een man die elke muzikant en ster in Nederland kent. Hij heeft bakken met hits en streams op zijn naam, maar nooit zijn eigen. Tot nu toe vond hij simpelweg nooit een liedje voor zichzelf. Tot 'Vanavond komt naar mij', toen hij wist dat hij een liedjes had geschreven dat hij zelf uit moest brengen. Inmiddels liggen er heel veel liedjes, bracht hij zijn eerste eigen EP uit die het gevoel geeft dat hij continu verliefd is, maar dat is hij niet. Mattijs spreekt hem over makerschap, de liefde (die verschrikkelijke liefde) en wat zijn behoefte tot autonomie daarmee te maken heeft.
