In a series of minisodes Antony Hurley examines the influences that inspired his debut LP Quiet Rooms. Each episode will feature a cover paired with a track from Antony‘s LP. Along with Sam Fisher and Dan Fuller, Antony describes why each particular cover and the artist has resonated so strongly with him.

In this episode they talk subverting sweet melodies for spookiness, stealing a famous song's opening chords and the mystery of John Lennon. Antony covers Julia by The Beatles from The White Album.

In this episode they talk the art of drone, lyric writing, a resurgence in folk around the UK and Ireland. Ant covers an old American favourite 'The Very Day I'm Gone' inspired by the version by Nora Brown.

    Antony, Sam and Dan are back to discuss Antony Hurley's new album Howl For More out now on Lanterne Records.   In this episode the three talk about loops, lyrical process and Ant's time supporting S. Carey on part of his UK tour. Ant covers S. Carey's song 'Brassy Sun', an old favourite made new again.

    Antony, Sam and Dan reconvene on the airwaves to discuss Antony Hurley's new album Howl For More being released on Lanterne Records this August 2025.   In this episode the lads discuss the nature of home recording, writing lyrics on the go, Ant's recent tour with Sam Amidon and the screen printed Howl For More vinyls arriving on Lanterne Records. Ant covers Red House Painters 'Grace Cathedral Park' and explains why the song means so much to him.

    Antony, Sam and Dan return to Lanterne Radio to discuss Antony Hurley's new album Howl For More being released on Lanterne Records this August 2025.   In this episode they discuss electronic instrumentation's adjacent relationship to folk music, the nature of playful lyrics and Antony covers Bert Jansch's 'Tell Me What Is True Love' from the album Rosemary Lane.

    Antony, Sam and Dan return to Lanterne Radio to discuss Antony Hurley's new album Howl For More being released on Lanterne Records this August 2025.   In episode two the lads discuss Ant's tribute to our very own Dan in the second single from Howl For More aptly titled: 'Dan's Song'. Ant explains what it's like to write a song about a close friend and cover's Elliott Smith's 'Between the Bars'.

    In Episode 10 Antony delivers a stunning cover of Famous Blue Raincoat by Leonard Cohen, and we celebrate the arrival of the Lauded Vinyl. Also, controversy at the British Book Awards.     In this episode, Antony covers Fold by Jose Gonzalez. They talk the man and his work, and announce a pamphlet in collaboration with folk singer Sam Amidon. The album is drawing near.     In Episode 8, Antony debuts his first instrumental cover with Bruce Langhorne's 'Leaving Del Norte'. They talk about songwriting in the folk idiom, and the expectation of authenticity.
