Radio Pargast in English
by Radio Pargast
My dear, yet unborn, child! I am writing these letters to you, because who knows, maybe one day you will be here and then you will know better why I did not want to bring you here in the first place. This is a chaotic life and hence the letters are chaotic. I hope your brain is not. You could also listen to it in its original Farsi language, but I could not risk it all. What if you never learn how to speak Farsi. So now you will not have any excuses. Enjoy :) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

E5- The Ultimate Peace- Pargast (English)
Pargast jan! With all due respect, I think the relationship between a father and a child is just a social contract. We don`t see this kind of contract among the animals and in the nature. For a cat it does not matter if she is her mother, when it is the mating season and he is ready to mate. Anyways, to commit to this social contract, I think we need to understand the nature of this contract, its context, its reasons. So maybe with this letter I can explain to you what I have in mind and what you can expect me. Or maybe you can change me into someone better... Who knows. But if you have any other points, I am all eyes in the comments :D (No children were abused in this episode or mistreated, an accident happened during the recording and she cried :( it was recorded and used in the episode. She is all fine and happy with the result of the episode.)Credits:Iranian Setar Impro, Pargast`s FatherShab Bood, Hani NirooA Fistful of Dollars, Ennio Morricone A Good Man with a Broken Heart, LoVibeHoşgeldin Bebek, Zülflü LivaneliKoli, Fereydoun Farokhzad Hosted on Acast. E4- Geography- Pargast (English)
Pargast Baba! Now that you have to be born, well, you must be born somewhere on this earth. Where you’re born matters more than what you are or how you come into this world. Geography doesn’t just affect your appearance — it even shapes your dreams and desires. Again, I don`t think this would be a good idea to be born, but just in case, if you have to, I want to get to somewhere that if you are born, you live a happy life, rather than struggling for your survival on a daily basis. E3- Divine Comedy- Pargast (English)
My dear unborn child, yet, of course. It was difficult to write to you about this, while all I am doing is actually taking careful steps for not having you. However, these days in Iran the authorities have passed a law which is tempting me to try to have you as soon as possible. This episode is my internal struggle to figure this equation out. What is "your" opinion about it? huh? credits: Pistache au Dôme, Aurèlie Saada Going the distance, Bill Conti (Rocky) Dokhtare Ahvazi, Sandy (Bandari)Kish, SepidehRomanian Folk Dances (for string orchestra), Béla BartókMoody Blues, Melancholy ManThe Crack of Doom, The tiger liliesPeter Drury commentary Hosted on Acast. My dearest unborn Pargast! You might listen and hear this letter in different ways, depends on so many thins. E1- Chaos- Pargast (English)
My dearest unborn child! Of course it is difficult to talk to you while you do not exist. It is even more difficult to talk to you in a language that is not my mother tongue, but we will get to that too. Let me start this surreal world by telling you how everything depends. For example if you grow up speaking Farsi, we do not need this at all. But I do not wan to take a risk and not tell you the whole truth I have discovered. So here we go! This is the first letter of many to come. Hope you enjoy listening to it and you share it with your friends as well. credits: Heroin_ The tiger lilies Night_ Daniel SpaleniakIt all depends_ Roderic (Aguacate version) Hosted on Acast.
