by wandering translators
RadioPoesia is a bilingual translation platform for German and Italian contemporary poets. The broadcast aims to promote the understanding of translation as an art form in its own right. RadioPoesia takes place simultaneously off- e online. Two poets, one from Italy and one from Germany, are invited to translate each other through the linguistic support of the translator collective wandering translators. This artistic process transforms the collective and asynchronous activity of translation into an experiment of re-poetry. In every episode, the invited poets and wandering translators read the originals and their rewrites or re-poetings, listen to music, and discuss aesthetic questions about poetic creation and translation
