RayMoney and Co. Daily Discussions
by RayMoney
This podcast is where we have quick talks and conversations about entertainment, such as sports, tv/film, and societal topics concerning today's climate. The main point is to bring up insightful topics (sometimes random crap, lol) I want to talk about individually or with other people I know to educate or provide new perspectives to anyone willing to listen. Everyone from the listeners tuning in to people either joining or working alongside my projects is why I extended the brand's name to the company (Co.). I'm never doing this alone!

Kind vs Nice: Why They’re NOT The Same
Welcome everyone! I'm back with a new topic I really wanted to vent about. As you can see, I'm discussing the two words that many people confuse with the same thing. Would you like to know why I am personally vexed about this? Also, I'm going to give you education on the words because using words in the wrong context is ignorant, and I hate it very much.Link to blog: https://medium.com/freedomofthought/kind-vs-nice-d793d782b873

Get you a 5 or 6 vs a 10?!
Hello everyone! It’s been a while, and I’m happy to bring you a new episode where I discuss the comments that Paul Pierce said on his Podcast, “After Dark”. Next time, I will include a guest as I promised for this season, so beware😁In this episode, I include an excerpt from Marcellus Riley’s show on YouTube, where he, a former NFL player, expresses similar sentiments to what Paul said. Trust me, I put my opinion on the matter and keep it all the way real. Enjoy!Chapters: 0:00 2:14 3:41 9:51 Link to Paul Pierce’s Comments: https://youtube.com/shorts/jnRd1m_6gHs?si=xBJdi8xe-mbasaZeLink to Marcellus Wiley Episode: https://youtu.be/sAtfDKbiLjo?si=nF5nQNEhh7goI7Ad

How I Almost Died as a One-Year-Old
This is an audio narration of my near-death experience at such a young age. A few months earlier I wrote about it, but now I'm explaining it through my voice. It's a story I've shared with a few and the impact hits immediately. What I hope by releasing this story in audio form is for folks with kids and or know people with kids to always make sure the babies and young kids are safe. Chapters: 0:00 Intro2:14 Setting the Stage for a Personal Story3:41 5W's and the 1H of My Near-Death Experience9:51 Reflections on Life and Self-WorthAs mentioned early in the episode, I apologized for the noises and the loud music and the fan was in the background. I used Riverside to eliminate the background noise. Unfortunately, the music was wiped out. Next time I'll strictly have the music in the background for the next podcast in an area that is not near any disruptions. Right below is the link to the written version of this podcast. 6 Green Flags To Look For in a Partner (Person)!
Intro: I run through the six bullet points on what makes a person worth the time to establish a bond with instead of wasting time! This podcast was spawned by reading an article from CBS from relationship expert Frankie Bashan aka Dr. Frankie. She articulates very well the factors that make a person a good partner. In my case, I used this blog as a way to interpret the message as for all relationships, regarding romantic, friendships, familiar ties, and even work relationships where contracts are upheld. Using personal examples and a cheap plug to my IG, check out the article below to see the correlation this episode has to your life and how it might change you. Peace!Intro: 0:00 1. RayMoney & Le Soapbox: Interview on King Leopold II
What’s the news?! Now, I want to announce what I did as amazing. I never thought I would get a real look off Medium by someone until about a few more years. I’m saying this because I have just done an interview on October 9th about a figure on an article I did about 4 years ago. As you can see, it was about King Leopold II.Link: https://linktr.ee/raymoney253 It was my first interview in a few years, and I will say I was feeling good but wish I didn’t have ANY mess ups. The guy is legitimate as it gets, and the process was about almost two weeks to get ready. Luckily, I prepared my set up and read over my article and a few links I had to shock my memory back so that I knew the main big points. It is going to be on iTunes and is a highly rated podcast which is why I care so much more. I stated extra facts that weren’t initially necessary for the 4 questions the interviewer asked me, but I correlated to Leopold in order to make it work and he definitely appreciated because it showcased my knowledge as a Black millennial, which the podcast is geared for. (i.e., mentioned Cecil Rhodes, barbarism, Herero genocide, etc)Am I going to state, the original interview was recorded in October 2022 and I had to request the audio file in order to get it published in the first place. Hopefully, it will be on his podcast soon as well so more folks know more about the atrocities the Congolese suffered.Link to blog: https://www.thefreedomofthought.com/why-isnt-history-cruel-towards-king-leopold-ii-13675d10220dAnyways, I can’t wait to keep you guys to see the podcast! Also, here are some links I’ve found in 2022 after seeing the public recognition of the statue removal for King Leopold II. It’s quite fascinating. The Teacher That Had The Most Impact on Me Growing Up
Let's revisit: This is the second episode where I'm talking about a previous article I wrote (almost four years ago), and I elaborate more on how the situation my teacher resolved was something I never forgot. The way he conducted himself and the principles he used are what I think many teachers should try to implement when problem-solving. How Honest Are You About Yourself?
In this podcast, I will talk about what makes me insecure. I’ll discuss them in a list format from my appearance to my usefulness. I hope this will lead to someone being honest about themselves to be the best person they can be. This originated from a recent article I did regarding my insecurities about myself. I'll do more podcasts and expand my blogs for new listeners. Comment below, and I’ll answer what I thought. Why Are People So Unempathetic To Each Other?
This is a nearly three-hour podcast, so listen at your own risk lolHello everyone! We are discussing a topic I believe is becoming increasingly global. UNEMPATHY. The lack of empathy, I see, is pathetic. People confuse the words Sympathy and Empathy as if they are the same. They are synonyms but have different levels of understanding and abilities that people most likely don’t know. Since I believe that, as humans, we need interaction. Even though I don’t like talking, how will you have bonds unless you put yourself out there and listen to others? That’s what I ask myself constantly, and when I was researching un-empathetic, I found many websites that gave me informative diagnoses as to why people are so averse to being empathetic. One of my guests ended up staying after the nearly 2-hour mark, and we had another convo about what else is wrong in the world, and this verified to me that I made the right decision to have him as a cohost. He is very passionate and knows what he is talking about. Going through the topic, I advise the listeners to look at the website (https://psychcentral.com/lib/why-do-some-people-lack-empathy) I used to recite my reasoning, statistics, and statements.Lastly, what do you think about this topic? Does this make you think about how you or others around you operate with people? These are just questions I would like you to answer for yourselves. Stay blessed everyone! Thanks to my Cohosts! This podcast was the first time I had guests. Initially, I prepared for this conversation for over a week and carefully selected my cohosts on Stereo, the app where I look for people to talk to. It’s in the name (Co.), so I need to involve more people in my endeavor to live up to the title of my podcast.Stereo has been great in the aspect of my usual friends on the platform; there are people I can talk to and hang out with in person. I can’t wait for more content from cohosts, and special thanks to Platanolover and Drago for clearing their schedules to discuss a nuanced topic. Thanks to PS3Thatsme for joining the podcast's early part and offering his perspectives and experiences. You guys were amazing!

How and Why Eminem Became Overrated
(Originally published July 8th, 2023) I decided to break down why Eminem can be considered overrated nowadays. I believe this is the case due to many factors that contributed to his career negatively. Eminem's legacy and being too highly rated as an emcee have been an extensive discussion in the hip-hop community for years. But, since Revival was released in December 2017, Eminem has unfortunately helped the case that while he's a great, legendary rapper, his all-time rank is overly valued.Chapters: 0:00 Intro as a fan3:45 How he became overrated7:04 Discography misses12:39 Stan Culture18:55 Why he became overrated21:00 Slowly becoming formulaic25:04 Versatility slowly lost28:53 Drug Addiction 35:06 Label allowing mediocrity 37:05 Not inspired38:40 Musically not talented in hip hop anymore41:40 Ignoring potential allies 43:15 Closing statement http://youtube.com/post/Ugkx67YqLemUethE-TSM_78g1Aq798EP9wLz?si=oes0d8PUz3f5_-v4The post shows the process of how I decided to break my reasoning on Eminem's legacy. Sorry about my mic and the feedback, it was extra bad with it recognizing all the little noises in the background and myself catching my breath when I was sick. The Etymology of the N-Word/High Glucose Levels?
Please read what is below before listening to the podcast. Or you can read after. It’s an introduction and summary at the same time. PEACE! Hello everyone! This is my first podcast (originally published elsewhere), where I decided to explain the genesis of the word “nig*er”. This first half of the podcast @ 0:15 was started because I wanted to provide context on how the N-word was used, which caused the racist word to be derived from the original term to a new one with a racist connotation. A little random question from an audience member about anime @ 6:35 to 7:30. I go back to talking about the N-word @ 7:31 to 9:45. The second half of the podcast starts at @ 9:46 and talks about the concerns about type 2 diabetes and what you might need to know. Just a brief informative talk detailing some terminology you should know before a doctor tells you. I got these ideas from a panel discussing these two topics on a podcast app called “Stereo.” Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:15 N-Word Origin Part 16:35 Anime segue 7:30 N-Word Origin Part 2 9:46 High Glucose LevelsThanks, and please enjoy!
