Reality Rewind with Megan

Reality TV is my escape. After a long day, there's nothing better than switching off and getting lost in the chaos — the petty arguments, the over-the-top drama, and the moments that make you question everything… but still keep watching. From my favourite Bravo shows to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and of course MAFS Australia when it's in season, I'll be diving into it all. The fights, the friendships, the questionable decisions — and yes, the times when everyone somehow ends up fighting over Craig. Each week, I'll be sharing my unfiltered thoughts on the latest episodes — who's making sense, who's stirring the pot, and who is completely out of line.If it's dramatic, messy, and impossible to look away from… I'm watching it — and I'll be talking about it.

Reality Rewind with Megan - The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1 Episode 5

In this episode of Reality Rewind with Megan, we recap The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1, Episode 5 ✨ We kick things off with Kelsey sitting down for a chat with her boyfriend, giving us a peek into their relationship dynamic From there, we head straight into a beach day that's already carrying leftover tension, especially after Liz and Alicia's heated exchange with Rosie Naturally, we break all of that down before heading into our signature tagline intros The first solo housewife scene goes to Alicia, who's trying her best to create a thoughtful floral arrangement for Jo-Ellen She's really putting in effort, even if floristry isn't exactly her strong suit Soon after, Jo-Ellen and Liz arrive, and the mood shifts when Jo-Ellen shares heartbreaking news—her grandfather has passed away at 100 years old ️ While supporting her, Liz and Alicia catch her up on all the gossip she missed while she was away ☕ Next, Kelsey opens her in-home salon for Ashley ‍♀️ but things quickly turn when she starts venting about Rosie not posting her hair appointment on social media Kelsey is clearly annoyed, feeling like she deserved a shoutout—and she does NOT hold back. Meanwhile, Rosie is busy planning a boat party with her gay best friend ⛵ and most of the girls are invited. Before the party even kicks off, she's already venting to Dilores about Kelsey, keeping the tension bubbling That tension finally explodes when Kelsey confronts Rosie in front of everyone—no private chat, just full group confrontation We then get a surprise dinner with Rulla and Jo-Ellen ️✨ Rulla is hoping to smooth things over and shut down the drama, but Jo-Ellen arrives with receipts and she is NOT letting things slide. From there, the couples head out to a polo event But chaos strikes before they even arrive—Brian gets a last-minute call and suddenly can't make the party bus And in true Housewives fashion, it's worth noting he also squeezed in a quick visit with his mistress beforehand Once at polo, things escalate again when Jo-Ellen gets a notification that the mistress has posted a photo… featuring Rulla and Brian at the event She shows Rulla, and the reaction is immediate—they disappear Just like that. And in a fitting bit of symbolism… Brian vanishes almost as quickly as his wedding ring did from his finger ✨

Reality Rewind with Megan - The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1, Episode 4

️ Reality Rewind with Megan – RHORI S1, Ep 4 Recap ️ We kick things off at Pizza Mamma—Alicia's husband's restaurant (and yep… still not in her name ). After a quick check-in with Rulla and her family, and a blink-and-you-miss-it Jo-Ellen packing scene (she's basically absent this episode ✈️), we head into the meat of the drama. At Liz's gorgeous house, she and Dilories try to cleanse the chaos with a sage ceremony to shake off those bad party vibes. Liz admits she feels a little guilty about how the Studio 54 party ended and starts floating an apology to Kelsey… but let's be honest, it's giving strategic Housewives apology energy The group then hits a very average beach they're treating like the Hamptons where the post-party analysis continues. No one quite understands why Rulla is so pressed at Jo-Ellen instead of her own husband, and Alicia casually stirs the pot bringing up Brian's past—“He doesn't look like a cheater.” Megan definitely has thoughts on that one Rosie then circles back to the Liz vs. Kelsey drama from the party, with Alicia admitting Liz kind of scares her too There's a fair bit of filler this episode, but the big “makeup” moment between Liz and Kelsey? Quick… and honestly, a bit underwhelming. Then comes the group pedal car date —and THIS is where things finally pop off. Rosie tells Liz she can come across as intimidating, which might explain why she hasn't bonded with Ashley. But at lunch, Rosie decides to bring that same convo back up… and throws Alicia right under the bus Cue Alicia going OFF. We're talking troll, snake, and a whole lot more—she flips in seconds and brings the chaos we were waiting for And just as quickly as it explodes… it's over. They make up in record time like nothing even happened A filler-heavy episode with flashes of drama—but when it hits, it hits. #RealityRewind #RHORI #PodcastRecap #HousewivesDrama

Reality Rewind with Megan - The Real Housewives of Rhode Island - Season 1, Episode 3

Reality Rewind with Megan Recap The Real Housewives of Rhode Island – Season 1, Episode 3 Episode 3 is where The Real Housewives of Rhode Island really starts to hit its stride—bringing us drama, personality, and, finally, the taglines. And honestly? They're all perfect. Each one fits the women and their storylines so far. My personal favourite has to be Jo-Ellen's: “I am not trying to be mean. I just mean what I say.” It sums her up completely. Ashley continues to shine in her confessionals—she's witty, sharp, and delivers some great one-liners. Now I just need her to bring that same energy into the group scenes, because if she does, she could easily become one of the breakout stars. We kick off the episode with ongoing chatter about the rumours surrounding Rulla and Liz's relationships, and things escalate quickly. Jo-Ellen doesn't hold back, claiming Brian went as far as emailing her workplace in an attempt to get her fired and silence her. It's a huge accusation and really sets the tone for the episode. Alicia is such a standout this week—quirky, funny, and effortlessly entertaining. I can already see her becoming a fan favourite. Her conversation about her home life adds a more personal layer, and it'll be interesting to see if this experience pushes her husband to give her more credit. Rulla hosts a brunch with friends outside the show, and the vibe feels very “yes people only.” It's a noticeable contrast to the tension we see within the main group. We also get dinner dates with Ashley and her husband, and Rosie and hers—moments that are meant to feel grounded but still leave an impression. Then we get to the main event: Gerry's Studio 54–themed party. Kelsey shows up looking absolutely stunning—she really doesn't miss. Rulla arrives with her husband, and the energy between them is noticeably awkward. Kelsey's boyfriend is also there, but this time as Gerry's friend, which adds another layer to the already complicated dynamic involving Dino—who also makes an appearance. Kelsey does her best to ignore him, but it's clear there's more to that story, and we'll definitely be unpacking it in future episodes. We also get a fun surprise cameo from Dolores, which is a nice little crossover moment for Housewives fans. But of course, the real drama kicks off with the big confrontation: Rulla and her husband versus Jo-Ellen and her husband. It's tense, messy, and exactly what you expect from a Housewives showdown. Brian, who's been central to the drama, suddenly goes quiet during it all—which doesn't go unnoticed. Jo-Ellen's husband, on the other hand, is firmly in her corner, backing her all the way. Jo-Ellen even jokes that his loyalty will earn him some rewards later… and honestly, fair enough. In true chaotic fashion, speeches start happening while arguments are still unfolding in the background. After the confrontation, Brian and Rulla make a quick exit, and once they're in the car, she immediately questions why he stayed silent—so clearly, that tension is far from over. Meanwhile, Liz has definitely had a few too many drinks, and things spiral quickly. Kelsey says something that triggers her, and Liz completely loses it—screaming and yelling at Kelsey in the bedroom in a full-blown meltdown that's as uncomfortable as it is explosive. All in all, this episode delivers big on drama, character development, and shifting dynamics. Lines are being drawn, cracks are starting to show, and it feels like things are only going to get messier from here—which is exactly what we want.

Reality Rewind with Megan - The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1 Episode 2

️ Reality Rewind with Megan – RHORI Season 1, Episode 2 Welcome back to Reality Rewind with Megan! This week we're diving into Episode 2 of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island—and wow, the drama is already working overtime. We open with Liz, who is making one thing very clear: she is not a granny—she's a Gigi. It's a rebrand, it's a mindset, it's a lifestyle. Honestly, respect the commitment. Meanwhile, Ashley is… still crying. And yes, it's still about the coffee shop. At this point, the coffee shop deserves its own confessional. Now let's talk about our newest chaos agent: Rulla—aka Rullala, courtesy of Alicia. And let me tell you, she earns that nickname immediately. When Liz brings up rumours about Rulla's husband stepping out, Rulla doesn't dodge—she fires straight back, bringing up Liz's own cheating rumours. No hesitation, no filter. We love a housewife who understands the assignment. Rulla also wastes zero time declaring she does not like Jo-Ellen. And if there's one thing she's good at, it's deflecting attention from her own issues by tossing the spotlight onto literally anyone else. Alicia continues to be the unexpected comic relief—her admission that she's barely driven on a highway? Iconic. Relatable? Questionable. Entertaining? Absolutely. We meet Rulla's husband, and her description is peak Rulla: she likes tall, dark, and handsome—and she thinks he's handsome… so he's at least one of the three. The shade is subtle but lethal. Next up, the ladies pile onto a party bus headed to a winery—because nothing says “healthy communication” like wine and unresolved tension. Kelsey pulls Jo-Ellen aside to warn her that Rulla is coming… only for Rulla to call in, fully glammed, claiming she's too unwell to attend. The timing? Suspicious. The drama? Delicious. At the winery, we get the classic “question in a box” game—aka producer gold. Everyone's asking what we're all thinking, and then Kelsey drops a bomb. She says she's not in a polyamorist relationship… but casually reveals she does have a boyfriend. So… not polygamous, but maybe polyamorist? Or just strategically vague? Either way, the group is confused, I am confused, and honestly, I need a diagram. Episode 2 really locks in the dynamics: Rulla is here to stir, Liz is curating her image, Ashley is still emotionally tied to espresso, and Kelsey might be the season's wildcard. And we are only just getting started. See you next time on Reality Rewind with Megan!

Reality Rewind with Megan - The Valley Season 3 Episode 3

Welcome back to Reality Rewind with Megan! Today we're breaking down The Valley, Season 3, Episode 3 — and this one is giving themed chaos in every direction. Danny and Nia are hosting a Cowboy-inspired housewarming, titled “The Final Frontier,” and they fully commit. Boots, hats, all of it — but the real headline? Danny's accent. What starts as a joke quickly becomes way too much, and by the end of the night, you can feel everyone silently begging him to stop. Before the party, we check in with Luke, who is — once again — going on about his sex life. But he finally gets what he's been complaining about right before the party, so hopefully we can all all move on now. Luke, please. We also get a more grounded moment with Brittany and Kristen, who visit a plastic surgeon so Brittany can remove what she calls the “last bit of Jax” from her chest. It's symbolic, a little emotional, and shows she's ready to close that chapter for good, with Kristen supporting her. At the housewarming, Luke tries to step in as peacemaker between Jason and Danny… and it goes about as well as you'd expect. Instead of smoothing things over, it just adds to the awkward tension already brewing. Then we have everyone meeting Brittany's new boyfriend, Brandon — and let's just say, first impressions are… loud. He wastes no time jumping into conversations and inserting himself into the drama, giving very familiar energy. It's hard not to notice the similarities to Jax, especially when he just cannot keep his mouth shut. Brittany might have a type, and history could be repeating itself. Meanwhile, Nia is doing her best to keep things together as host, but the night is already spiraling. And just when you think we're done, we head out for a girls' night at a Y2K-themed bar. The vibes are fun, the nostalgia is strong — but Michelle quickly stirs the pot by not keeping her mouth shut, pulling Lala and Jasmine into unnecessary drama and turning the night messy fast. Overall, this episode is a mix of cowboy chaos, questionable behavior, and a whole lot of people talking when they probably shouldn't be.

Reality Rewind with Megan - The Valley Season 3 Episode 2

Welcome back to Reality Rewind with Megan! Today we're diving into The Valley, Season 3, Episode 2 — and wow, there's a lot going on, but also… somehow not much growth from certain people. We kick things off with Luke, who is once again complaining about his sex life. At this point, it's starting to feel like a broken record. Honestly, he just needs to give Kristen some space instead of constantly putting their issues on blast. The bulk of the episode takes place at Lala's daughter Sosa's birthday party, which is basically a pastel dream. Think soft colors everywhere, a super curated vibe — and randomly, a very attractive pool lifeguard who catches Lala's attention. She jokes about wanting to be rescued by him, and honestly, it adds a bit of lightness to an otherwise tense gathering. Then we get into what I'm calling Janet's “apology tour”… except she doesn't actually apologize. She approaches Nia expecting an apology instead, which completely misses the point and sets the tone for some very awkward interactions. It's uncomfortable to watch and doesn't exactly help her case with the group. Meanwhile, Brittany introduces her new man, Brandon — and he wastes no time jumping straight into the drama. It's giving very familiar energy, especially if you remember her ex. Clearly, Brittany has a type, and it looks like this relationship might come with just as much chaos. Overall, this episode is a mix of aesthetic party vibes and unresolved tension, with a lot of people talking… but not a lot of accountability happening.
