To not take your elders for granted and ask them about their past, how they were raised, and they hardships the had to endure that may be so different from todays society. Angel informs us of a few reasons why gene expression is important and how it shows up in generational curses as well as some of our medical diagnosis. Again we are urged to seek mental healthcare, educate ourselves, and our ancestors along the way.

Today’s episode of BlackbyAngel we discuss how we too often self diagnosis because it is popular at the time and it’s a hot topic of discussion. Angel reminds us the importance of speaking with a mental health professional and allowing them to assess us before we claim a diagnosis that is not ours. It is believed that globally more than half the population will be diagnosed with a mental health disorder at some point in their lives. Don’t take on baggage that is not yours to carry.

Bad Friend
Today's episode is called bad friend. Angel breaks down some of the differences of an introvert and an extrovert. She explains that some introverts may find it easier to be in one on one spaces, smaller groups, and even alone because the external stimulation from others can be overwhelming. Extroverts tend to have a higher social battery allowing them to be outgoing in large social settings. Angel also reminded us that being a good friend is about reciprocation in all areas such as support, engagement, and outings. It is essential to know what environments work best for your friends and in what ways you can support them best. Each of your friends may require a different level of interaction, FaceTime, and engagement that should be respected.
