Respectfully, Retrospectively

Respectfully, Retrospectively is an interview-based show that seeks to honestly reckon with the Waldorf School experience for former students, faculty, and community. I attended the Seattle Waldorf School K-8 because my parents appreciated the tech-free philosophy, art and nature forward curriculum, and insular community, but years later I have grappled with the homogeneity of that community and in turn, some of the the internalized hatred regarding my identity. This podcast is an amalgam of reflections on the Waldorf experience -- my own and my parents.

    Respectfully, Retrospectively: Parent's Edition

Have you ever heard of a Waldorf School? If you have not, welcome! If you have, I'm here to corroborate the things you've heard about watercolor walls, gnomes and lantern walks. If you attended one, this is for you. Join me in an interview with my lovely parents as we reflect on the good, the strange, and the sinister. We get a little nostalgic along the way. We certainly get critical. We remain respectful. We are retrospective.
