Its sales will go towards a reforestation campaign in the Leiria National Forest in Portugal, promoted by the environmental organisation ZERO.

This is our version of the song ‘Só Ouve o Brado da Terra’ by José Afonso, published on the 1974 album ‘Coro dos Tribunais’.

'Rosa Tirana' was one of those pearls we came to only in 2019, during the construction of "Circuito" - a community project coordinated by Ondamarela and presented at the 2019 Noite Branca de Braga event, where we collaborated with the Equipa Espiral percussion group, a group of chordophone players from the city, a senior group playing synthesizers and a choir formed from many local associations. Most of them are represented in this recording where we also have the generous participation of Marta Pereira da Costa on Portuguese guitar. Along the way we tried to find out who the aforementioned Rosa is and where the melody comes from. We discovered it in the record “Amália… Canta Portugal” where, in the informative notes, it says that "This song comes from the Cancioneiro Popular Duriense. The first stanza, collected in Leça da Palmeira in 1887, was sung by 'mulheres ovarinas' (women fish vendors)". And although we still don't know who Rosa was, we do know, however, that her words of resistance, whether of complicity or of greed, have lasted through time. ........................................
