    Hit the Ground Running

Lyrics I turn around and I can’t breathe I feel your eyes on me again And I am paranoid to ever show my face For the times when we lock eyes I just turn to run away from the daylight in your smile liable to burn me Say what you will I never had a chance Say what you will I’m falling fast again Don’t say a damp thing Watch me I will hit the ground runnin Cock the gun to my temple You hold my fate in your hands You’ll smile as you say it’s all in my head Take a breath, your asthma’s acting up again isn’t that a shame. Maybe we could still be friends maybe I could learn to live again maybe I’ll stop blaming you for how things turned out that day is not today Say what you will I never had a chance Say what you will I’m falling fast again Don’t say a damp thing Watch me I will hit the ground runnin

    Something Upbeat - Robert Foster

For the last several months I’ve been in several rooms Of therapists, group therapy, And others don’t affect me I’ve been cutting myself in places you’ll never see And crying myself to sleep… But here is something upbeat I do yoga now! I’ve been drinking to the bottom of the bottle Caffeinated beverages I pretend are alcohol Take another swig, dance a little jig But thank god I can put my legs up on a wall I do yoga now In my bright orange shoes People compliment me They probably think look a douche I don’t have the heart To try and make them believe That fat man like Does yoga now I may not have all the answers I may not have all the words My life may be tail spinning And with one possible ending But I can learn to breathe properly In positions where I take the D Cuz I do yoga now!

    Tales from across the graveyard

Lyrics: It was a moment in passing it was a touch of tenderness two broken souls could learn to smile after the night came down the light in there eyes came out shown the flicker of a candle the tears in his eyes but for a moment in passing there was love in his life tales from across the graveyard it's been burning inside walking through hell fire half dead half alive nothing here to admire but then the walls shed their paint let the world fade away for the moment in passing there were no bitter thoughts tales from across the graveyard a moment in passing a memory to bank on when everyone's asking if I can keep going strong tales from across the graveyard

    Upon a Star - Robert D. Foster

Really like this song I wrote today, let me know what you think? Lyrics Turning down the road I made peace with all the memories that once upon made me want to cry I’m going down slow Every drop of rain could wash my soul away in the stars: are shining down Asking if I’ll ever come home I don’t know Another restless night awaken to your voice from a memory telling me I’m fine make another choice It’s like left or right I’m hoping will lead me back to you are smiling now ask me if I’m ok on my own … This all was never your fault I built a house of cards and I cried when the wind took it down but you played a part Thanks to you I know I can be better on my own Turning down the road I made peace with all the memories that once upon made me wanna cry I’m going down slow Every drop of rain could wash my soul away in the stars: I wish everyone of them that your dreams will come true I save one last to wish that I’ll see you shining brighter than ever before Turning down the road I made peace with all the memories that once upon made me want to cry

    Don't

Lyrics: We can’t do this We can’t hold our hearts to the fire Say maybe though it's crazy the future is hazy Don’t entertain the thought we could be God, don’t think about the way she smiles, The way she laughs or how she sings Most of all don’t think of all the joy she brings Don’t smile because you’re happy just to think about it then Don’t dare to dream of her again Honestly you shouldn’t even miss her The way she would kiss you goodnight Honestly you should believe there’s better She tells you that but god only knows why Think maybe for a moment there is hope in her eyes Reawaken all the sadness and tell yourself lies you’ve moved on you’re moving on you are living your life Don’t dare to dream of her again I confess under duress That I missed you today You confide you cannot hide You don’t want to cause me anymore pain We talk in circles just to not say goodbye And I smiled, and you smiled and I said… and you said… but then We can’t do this We can’t hold our hearts to the fire We can’t hold our hearts to the fire again
