Roby Cantafio nasce in Lombardia ma trascorre infanzia e adolescenza in giroper il mondo, trascorrendo lunghi periodi della sua vita tra Bahamas, Germania,Iran e Algeria, esperienze che influenzeranno profondamente il suotemperamento artistico, impetuoso e ricco di sfumature.La sua passione per la musica, iniziata sin da giovanissimo, lo ha portato aconfrontarsi con diversi strumenti musicali, ma la chitarra elettrica diventa benpresto la sua fedele compagna di vita, grazie alla quale sviluppa una grandepassione per il Rock e il Blues e per artisti come Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, KISS.     WALLY

    The song "Wally" was born following the disappearance of the beloved boxer dog of the artist, Roby Cantafio. The song tells of the special relationship established between a man and his dog, especially if the latter was adopted after a situation of abandonment and deprivation and is no longer very young. The passage describes the upset and the pain for the sudden lack of the dog, only partly soothed by the awareness of having given a few years of joy and cuddling to an animal otherwise destined to the kennel. Hence the profound message of the text: if you choose to adopt a dog, try to open your heart to those who have less hope than others, to a dog perhaps already old or not in perfect shape, because the love that is given will be always little compared to the pure and unconditional one that the dog will be able to donate.
