    E7: Advancing Public Housing in NYC with the Public Housing Preservation Trust

    RPA's VP for Housing and Neighborhood Planning, Moses Gates, is joined by the President of the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust, Dr. Vlada Kenniff, to discuss the establishment of the agency, its staff, agenda, and ways of working to preserve and improve the stock and conditions of the NYC Housing Authority (NYCHA)--the largest housing authority in the United States. On June 16, 2022, Governor Kathy Hochul signed legislation creating the New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust (the Trust) after unprecedented advocacy from residents, NYCHA employees, and advocates eager for a solution to improve their homes and communities. The Trust is a government agency that repairs, renovates, and modernizes public housing for residents in partnership with the New York City Housing Authority.     E6: RPA's Guide to the NYC Charter Revision Proposals ft. Moses Gates

    E3: 3 Months of Congestion Pricing in NYC, ft. Kate Slevin

    In the 3rd episode of RPA Radio, host, Dr. Sam Bowden Akbari, is joined by RPA’s EVP, Kate Slevin, to dive into all things congestion pricing in NYC. On January 5th of this year, the nation’s first ever congestion pricing tolling program went into effect as NYC joined global cities such as London and Singapore, who use a tolling fee to curb congestion, pollution, VMTs, and use the toll revenue to fund the mass transit system.
