What happens when you step out of the city and into something much bigger than yourself? In this episode, I share a quiet moment from a recent run by the ocean in Iwaki.Listening to the waves of the Pacific, I was reminded that not everything is within our control—and maybe that’s exactly what we need sometimes. If you’ve been feeling like you have to hold everything together, keep pushing, and figure it all out… this episode is for you.A gentle reflection on letting go, reconnecting with something bigger, and continuing forward in your own way. What you’ll hear in this episode– The pressure of “having to manage everything”– What the ocean reminded me about control and limits– Why small steps are enough– The importance of intentionally creating space to pauseWork with meIf this episode resonated with you, I offer Trust Coaching and career coaching sessions in both English and Japanese.– Trust Coaching School (Basic / Advanced)– TCS Career Coaching (2-hour session)You can find more details here:https://sails-for.com/Feel free to reach out anytime.

Ep.17 — 8 Years of Coaching: Why I Keep Choosing Trust Coaching

Eight years have passed since I became a certified coach with Trust Coaching School. In this episode, I reflect on why I continue — or rather, why I keep choosing — Trust Coaching.Coaching is not about having a perfect life or always knowing the answers. It is about creating time to think, to ask better questions, and to build healthier relationships. In a world where answers come instantly, Trust Coaching offers something different: space.Space to reflect.Space to discover your own voice.Space to live with more clarity.Since we are alive, maybe we deserve to live well.If you are curious about coaching, self-trust, or personal growth, this episode is for you.Shiho Yamamichihttps://www.instagram.com/shiho_yamamichi/

Ep.16 Why I Chose Trust Coaching — A Japanese Approach to Healthier Relationships

Why did I choose Trust Coaching? In this episode, I share why this Japanese coaching style feels meaningful to me, and why I believe it can support healthier relationships in today’s world. Many coaching methods focus strongly on the individual. While independence is important, we can sometimes feel lonely or disconnected.Trust Coaching is rooted in the Japanese value of harmony. It encourages us to care about ourselves while also caring about the people around us.This episode is about balance, connection, and living well — not perfectly, but thoughtfully. If you are curious about coaching, relationships, or building self-trust, this episode is for you.Shiho Yamamichihttps://www.instagram.com/shiho_yamamichi/

Ep.4 Why Hiroko started learning coaching in Trust Coaching

Hiroko is one of the Trust Coaching certified coaches and she is doing English learning coaching for Japanese English learners as well. Her insightful perspectives on coaching are very unique and interesting. In Episode 4, I had a conversation with Hiroko. Hiroko worked as an English teacher for over 10 years in schools, and currently, she works as both an English learning coach and a certified coach of Trust Coaching School.  She shared insights with us on how effective coaching can be for English teachers. This effectiveness stems from the deep connection between English learning in Japan and the learners' life plans.  Therefore, as an English learning coach, we should not only focus on teaching English but also act as life coaches to support our learners in their broader life goals. Ep.2 Why Noriko started learning coaching in Trust Coaching

Thanks to Noriko, who lives in Melbourne, I was inspired to start this podcast together in English.  In our episode, Noriko and I talk about why we find Trust Coaching appealing and why we've chosen to spread the word about it in English. It might be a bit of a hesitant start, but I hope you enjoy it. Noriko experienced personal transformations through Trust Coaching. These emotions she felt as a mother of two daughters are something I believe many parents worldwide could relate to, regardless of where they live. We plan to delve deeper into Trust Coaching in our next conversation. Noriko's web site https://norikoclarke.com/en-graphic_design/ I interviewed Noriko why she got interested in Trust Coaching at the start point.
