Say More about Claiming Your Authentic Authority
You have the credentials and the experience. The expertise flows out of you because you've spent years learning, researching, and deepening what you know. But when it's time to step into that expertise, you hedge. You doubt yourself. You soften the edges of what you actually know. Authentic authority is the sweet spot where your true self meets your expertise. Maybe you're in an environment that doesn't honor brilliance like yours or give space for it to flourish. You might have a shitty boss who steals your ideas and takes the credit. That's the worst and it happens more often than we care to say out loud (I'm sorry if that's happening, btw). My hope for you, however, is that whatever work environment you're in - you will learn to own (and claim) your Authentic Authority. Let's talk about what that is in this episode, and how to get it. --- Every link you need to connect with Dr. Amber is right here: http://www.wordswellsaid.com/contact

Say More about Owning Your Overwhelm
You say yes to everyone. The project, the favor, the commitment you don't have time for. And every time you say yes to them, you're saying no to yourself—your rest, your priorities, your life. How did you become the person who's available for everyone except you? Dr. Amber walks through the reasons why you override your own limits to keep everyone else happy, and how to take accountability for your role in your overwhelm. Say More about How to Trust Your Own Voice
When you don't trust your own voice, you give your power away. You end up living by consensus, waiting for validation, or second-guessing every decision. You spend more energy seeking confirmation than acting on what you already know. And the cost? You lose connection with yourself. You build a life based on everyone else's opinions instead of your own truth. In this episode, Dr. Amber explains how you learned to doubt yourself in the first place and how to build self-trust, slowly but surely. You're waiting for permission to lead. Waiting for the title, the promotion, the moment when someone officially says you're ready. Say More about the Cost of Being a "Good Girl"
Be nice. Don't make waves. Make everyone comfortable. Keep the peace. If you heard these messages growing up, you learned early that your value came from making other people happy—even at your own expense. And now? You're exhausted from it. Unlearning "good girl" conditioning is a daily practice of choosing yourself even when it feels selfish. Dr. Amber walks you through all of it in this episode on the cost of being a "good girl." Say More about the Questions You're Avoiding
This is the kind of episode that might make you uncomfortable. And I'm not sorry about that because you're not here to stay in your comfort zone. You're here to grow. Today we are saying more about the questions you are avoiding. Here's what I mean - there's a question sitting in the back of your mind that you keep pushing away. Maybe it's about your relationship, your career, who you're becoming. No matter how much you try to distract yourself, it's still there. More meetings, activities, and obligations won't keep it from taunting you. And yet…you keep trying to avoid it. So we need to talk about it, okay? It's time to get to the bottom of why the questions you're avoiding hold the answers you need. Say More about Why You Don't Know How to Receive
Many high-achieving women believe: "I have to earn love and support through productivity." I'm here to tell you, "Survey Says: That is a lie!" Worthiness isn't conditional on what you can produce. But if you grew up learning that your value came from making others happy, this belief runs deep. This episode digs into why receiving feels more vulnerable than giving and how to practice receiving without guilt. Say More about Detaching Your Identity from Work
Today, we're saying more about why you need to build an identity outside of work—and how to actually do it. Because when there's a layoff, or you simply don't want to do what you do anymore, who will you be? The inability to answer that question keeps people stuck. Many of my coaching clients are looking for permission slips to do what they want to do and if that's you, here it is. Say More about When Success Feels Like a Scam
You've checked all the boxes. The degrees, the title, and the salary. People congratulate you and all the things, but inside? You feel empty. Like you're living someone else's life in your own body. If this is you, pull up a chair because we have so much to talk about! In this episode, Dr. Amber is saying more about what happens when success doesn't feel the way you thought it would (that is, like a total scam and you want a refund). In this episode, we explore: • Why external validation can't fill an internal void • The cost of achieving goals that weren't really yours • How to reconnect with what actually matters to you Say More is a podcast for accomplished women who are ready for more honesty in how they live, love, and lead.
