Screen & Scripture

I’m Dave Allen, and I’m excited to share two of my passions with you - movies and God’s word. In each episode, I’m going to discuss one of my favorite movies. I’ll look at why I find it compelling and why you should consider watching it. I’ll try to point out some of the technical aspects of the film making process to help you learn what to look for in other great films. I’ll also look at a topic that the movie dwells on and see what the Bible has to say about that.

    End of Series 1!

Hi!  Dave here.  I just wanted to give a short state of the show update.  This podcasting thing is new to me and my plan is to approach it in short series of six episodes each.  I just finished the first series and will take a breather to evaluate if this is an effort worth continuing as well as how to better manage the writing and recording schedule.  I hope you’ve enjoyed listening along these last six weeks and I would love to know if you have any feedback.  You can leave a review on any of the episodes or email me at [email protected].  I’d love to hear if you’ve had a chance to catch up with any of the movies I’ve covered or have thoughts on any of the bible passages I’ve referenced.  Thanks for listening to “Screen & Scripture”!  And remember, whether you eat, drink, or listen to a podcast about movies and the bible, do all to the glory of God!.
