Searching for More

Fact: most of us are living lives that are pretty disconnected from the truth of who we really are. We exist as versions of ourselves we believe will satisfy the world around us, often at the expense of our own happiness. We unknowingly show up as who we think we’re supposed to be, rather than who we really are. Good news! The path to a happier and more vibrant life starts with one simple question: who were you before the world told you who you were supposed to be? Let it sink in for a moment. Searching for More is a conversation about how we can start to show up for ourselves, or better yet as ourselves, in a world that never really taught us how. It’s an opportunity to step outside of our distraction-filled lives and examine what’s really going on. Most of all, this is a highly relatable conversation, based on my own journey of self-discovery. I’m Jake and I’ve spent years searching for more happiness, more fulfillment, more inner peace. And while I haven’t figured

How to Search for More (Pt 2)

In the second part of How to Search for More, we continue onto steps 3 and 4 of a more detailed framework around how we can better come into touch with the truth of who we really are. In this episode, we explore step 3, becoming more aware of our blocks -- the limiting beliefs we have that keep us stuck -- that keep the "real us" from feeling safe to show up. In step 4, we talk about how to pull all the steps together and begin to let our most authentic self show up in the world.Follow on Instagram @searchingformorepodcast

How to Search for More (Pt 1)

In the first part of this episode, we explore a more tactical step by step framework on how we can begin to Search for More. We start with step 1, becoming the conscious observer -- creating awareness of who we've been showing up -- the patterns, habits and conditioning that force us to show up as versions of ourselves that maybe aren't the real us. In step 2, we start to examine how we can come more into touch with the truth of who we really are and how we can harness this to manifest a life that is vibrant, colorful and fulfilled. My Truth

In this episode, things get personal. Society has conditioned us to lean away from vulnerability, but in this episode, we're going to do the opposite. Because vulnerability builds trust and connection. Join me as I share more about my journey, including some of my earliest traumatic experiences, how they went unprocessed for years and how the Searching for More framework has allowed me to come more into touch with the truth of who I am, beneath these unprocessed experiences.Follow on Instagram @searchingformorepodcast

    The Intro

In 20 minutes, we explore some of the fundamentally most important questions about our human experience. Specifically, we ask a very important question: who were you before the world told you who you were supposed to be?There is so much out there for us, if we are willing to start to become more aware of "the us" that's been showing up -- the versions of ourselves largely conditioned by the world around us -- the version of ourselves which often do not honor the truth of who we really are and how we can show up in a way that will bring most happiness and fulfillment into our lives. It's time to start, Searching for More...Follow on Instagram @searchingformorepodcast

    Teaser: Searching for More

In this short teaser episode, we explore one simple but profoundly important question: who were you before the world told you who you were supposed to be?Most of us show up in our day to day lives, not realizing that we are showing up as versions of ourselves that are a result of years of conditioning. As a result, we often prioritize the demands of who the external world told us we were supposed to be, rather than the truth of who we really are.Follow on Instagram @searchingformorepodcast
