How to avoid “starting over” in January
How many January 1st’s have you lived through to feel like you were starting from square one with your health and fitness goals? This episode I decided to switch gears a bit from the lens of motherhood, and talk to you as a Coach. Our habits have a bad habit (pun intended) of taking a back seat during the holiday season and we completely let go of all the things we normally do to help keep ourselves feeling good. Instead of looking at the holidays as a time of “all or nothing” how can we approach this time of year with a new mindset, and simply pivot our expectations instead of putting a hard stop to our daily non-negotiable’s? Give this episode a listen for some actionable examples of how to do just that, and avoid the feeling of having to start over in January!

The Unfiltered Health Update
Positive for Lyme and SIBO…what the actual f*ck. In this episode I dive into a lot of what I’ve been silently suffering with for years, how I finally got some answers, and how important it is to advocate for yourself.

Postpartum expectations vs. reality
Ahhhh early postpartum, what a time to be alive. In this episode I really wanted to dive into certain aspects of the early postpartum experience, and the expectations verses the reality of that timeframe. There is SO much that can be discussed here, as postpartum is truly forever, but I more specifically discuss the reality of recovery timelines, what it ACTUALLY means to be “cleared” at 6 weeks postpartum, body image, mental health, “you sleep when the baby sleeps,” and some postpartum unexpected…hiccups, we’ll call them. I hope this episode offers some much needed honesty and truth surrounding the vulnerable season of early postpartum, as that’s what I needed more of when I was in the trenches myself.

Taking care of you IS taking care of your kids
Somehow I’ve developed a motto…does this mean I’ve officially made it? Kidding. But, I do truly believe in being able to prioritize your own needs as well as your kids, and in doing so, you are better equipped to care for them. Taking care of you IS taking care of your kids, and that is never something to feel guilt over. Give this episode a listen to help figure out your top 3 non negotiable ways you can prioritize YOU every day, to set the example for your babies.
