The Neuroscience of Connected Breathwork. What the heck is actually happening?!

Lana Power is a neuroscientist, educator, researcher, facilitator, and breathworker, based in London, UK. Her mission, much like mine, is the sacred marriage work of the scientist and the mystic; the building of the bridge between modern neuroscience research and ancient practices for the integration of the physiological impulse towards survival and the conscious impulse towards aliveness. Lana's passion is research and public education on the human nervous system to facilitate the embodiment and integration of physiology and consciousness. Her current research focuses on the physiology of trauma, resiliency, breath, altered states of consciousness and the human stress response.  Lana is a lifelong student of systems, historian of the body, and ethnographer of emotion. She has a Neuroscience (MSc), specializing in developmental and evolutionary neurobiology, and is a student of quantum mechanics, physics, and ancient wisdom systems such as astrology, tarot, and Kabbalah. Her studies reflect an appreciation for the archetypes of creation, for life itself as Earth’s only self-organizing system, and a reflection of the wisdom and intelligence in nature. You can find Lana at: https://lanapower.com https://www.instagram.com/lanapower___/ Steph Magenta is the founder of Seven Directions® Breathwork Training School, and is a curious seeker into the human meeting point of embodiment and mysticism.
