Shanita Lee

SHANITA LEEMusic has always been in my life, starting from early age with piano, then keyboards, and now electronic music. I am keen to vary my styles when producing instrumental music. My inspirations come from different musical interests. Sometimes through soundtracks for filming production on youtube 'Countryside Walking', or interpreting different moods through compositions arrangements.Piano arrangements tend to have a hint of jazz fusion with a creative mix of arrangements between different instruments.Based in Manchester, I get to see and hear wide styles of music around me.

    Liberation

Liberation is high energy EDM with various instrumental tracks to enhance the beat.

  3. 12

    First Impressions

First Impression, finally published after some time out of the limelight. My experimentations in Jazzy Funk style, produced an upbeat soul tempo. Main instrument focuses on accoustic guitar. A laid back intro leads into an upbeat tempo. Ideal for chilling out with. check out my music video - https://youtu.be/4Fjj99IQmSY?si=QafWMiFhXQcBGEqE

  4. 11

    Going Solo

Going Solo got its title from a sense of being free spirited in an independent way. The track has multiple instrumentals with effects to enhance its ambient mood. Mainly an Electronic Dance mood.

  5. 10

    A Fleeting Glance

A Fleeting Glance has been through a few experiments during production stages. The variations are not only in mixing of instruments, timing and percussions, but also digital vocals, albeit midway through the track. It's been a stretch of imagination in music production and interpretation of ideas through it.

  6. 9

    After Midnight

A late night rendezvous, maybe with someone special or a romantic meeting says it all about this music track. It's style or genre is in ambient mood late night relaxing 'After Midnight'. (Included in my Album Candlelight Mood.) I have also produced a music video, with a theme of clock watching after the magic hour of midnight. https://youtu.be/pZuBCLIzMxU?si=8Xe4uUj4npwjseVm

  7. 8

    Moving On

Moving On was on the back burner for sometime before rediscovering to finished the track. It has a bouncy vibrant air to celebrate the theme of moving on in life whether this be a new lifestyle, relationship or just a New Year resolution. Just one of my Album Tracks on 'Candlelight Mood"Instrumentals. https://shanitalee.bandcamp.com/album/candlelight-mood Also music video soundtrack on youtube.com/@Instrumental Music68

  8. 7

    'Outcast'

Outcast has a slow mood beat. With a melancholy style to my instrumental, finding a title to fit finally led to 'Outcast'. The cover art however, was chosen to reflect a lighter side to being Outcast. It was a visual poster seen in a seaside ice cream parlour regarding a rather misfit problem locals were enduring.

  9. 6

    Breaking Free

Exploring different style of production and arrangements. Breaking Free initially experimental before developing into track.

  10. 5

    In Denial

In Denial is my latest track. A sleeky cool style of lounge music. I think this style gives a moody theme, gradually building up with different synths, then emphasising deep bass tones to contrast high pads.

  11. 4

    Innuendos

Innuendos is from latest Album 'New Dimensions". It's part of a collection of experimenting in different styles of music production. The title Innuendos was just an idea that came to my mind of something allusive neither this style nor that just a fusion of ideas together.

  12. 3

    Smooth Persuasion

Smooth Persuasion is an uptempo beat with laidback style. The cover photo of a puppy dog with a persuasive expression seemed apt for this track. It was taken when introduced by the owner in a welsh cafe somewhere near (Tregwynt Mill Mathry).

  13. 2

    Nostalgia

There's a kind of romantic feel to 'Nostalgia'. It's laid back beat brings to mind all the things which could have been, might have been or never been. It's all down to interpretation. Available to download on http://shanitalee.bandcamp.com/track/nostalgia

  14. 1

    Slightly Off - The Beat

Slightly off-the beat does what it says. Whilst its a relaxing dinner jazz piano arrangement, I think it could possibly be played in any Piano loung bar. There is some inconsistency in the melody beat but in a way that brings it all together. Available on http://shanitalee.bandcamp.com/track/slightly-off-the-beat

  15. 0

    Funky Bass

'Funky Bass' is one of those tracks where everything went into the mix. Combining different drum beats produced a strong pulse beat. It's earthy bass sound gives the title 'Funky Bass'. I'v offset the bass by sliding a synth melody inbetween the main thrust of the beat.

  16. -1

    The Dark Side

The photo for my track has a story attached. On the horizons of Dove Stone in Saddleworth Lancashire is an outcrop of rock shaped like an Indian's Head by which its called. Shrouded in mist its a foreboding sight to see. Hence aptly describes my track as the Dark Side.

  17. -2

    No Excuses

'No Excuses' for a change of direction. Originally intended as an instrumental, but lyrics took over instead. Experimenting between different beats from country to Deep tech/HipHop brings a mix of styles. Available on - https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-music&field-keywords=No+Excuses+Shanita+Lee

  18. -3

    Switch

This Instrumental arrangement took on a free flow expression. Keeping the beat, I'v switched styles between Electronic, Soul/Blues and Deep House. It all merges together under the title of 'Switch'

  19. -4

    Borvasstindan

An orchestral contemporary arrangement as soundtrack for my video on Youtube. Bringing the drama of an exhilerating hike near the Borvasstindan Mountains in Norway. Now on Youtube https://youtu.be/cjpnckr31L4

  20. -5

    Hazy Mist

The pace of this track is slow and relaxing. I spent time watching deer in the wild life of Dunham Massey Country Park. The gentle pace of their movements inspired the melody in this soundtrack arranged forvideo "Wild Life". https://www.facebook.com/shanitaleedigitalmusic/videos/1053366734773724/

  21. -6

    Slow Journey

Here's an easy listening gentle melody which I arranged and recorded as a soundtrack. 'Slow Journey' is on my video of the Rochdale Canal, now on my Facebook Digital Music Page. https://www.facebook.com/shanitaleedigitalmusic/videos/1216785075098555/
