honesty is the only way to land softly.
if you hear the birds in the background today it is because i am sitting outside with my thoughts. i needed the fresh air to get this truth out.for a long time i thought healing was something that happened to me. i thought i could just wait for the world to get easier so i could finally relax. but the deeper i go the more i realize that softness is not a gift. it is a result.you cannot land softly on a foundation of lies. you cannot feel the peace you are looking for if you are still performing a version of yourself that does not exist.we are talking about how honesty is the only thing that actually melts the armor. we are talking about how being the chief operating officer of my household made me hard. and how finally telling the truth about my own needs is the only thing that allowed me to finally soften.sit with me outside for a minute while we get real about the work. because once you start becoming honest with yourself. that is when the soft landing actually begins.thank you for being here in the refuge.

I Didn’t Lose My Faith. I Lost My Fear.

In this episode, we explore the liberating reality of shedding old anxieties to make room for a deeper, more authentic truth. I didn't lose my faith. I lost my fear.

You Don’t Miss Them, You Miss Who You Were Allowed To Be
You don’t miss them. You miss who you were allowed to be. The softer, freer version of yourself that existed in their presence. In this episode we explore heartbreak as more than loss of a person. It’s the quiet grief of reclaiming yourself and the permission to show up fully.
