https://3speak.tv/watch?v=sosask8/tgggmkpxdk This was my moment in battle of the Berrics .This competition is probably one of the most famous and important events in the skateboarding culture in the world .I couldn’t believe when they messaged me saying I was one of selected skaters to participate in this virtual contest ,Were I had to send a video with my 10 favorite flatground tricks .I remember that day I couldn watch this event in real time because of my location,and I had to call a friend who lives in United States and make a video call so I could see what was happening in the contest.I was so happy even tho I couldn’t see very good because when I heard the words from Steve Berra (Legend of skateboarding) talking about how is the reality of the cuban skaters,with no industry and no shops. Also I had the chance to represent my country ,doent really matter that I didn’t win for me it’s more important than the thousands of people watching that contest saw that our culture exist 🇨🇺. Este fue mi momento en la batalla de los Berrics, probablemente uno de los eventos mas famosos e importantes en la cultura del skateboarding en el mundo, no podia creer cuando me enviaron un mensaje diciendo que era uno de los skaters seleccionados para participar en este concurso virtual, donde tenia que enviar un video con mis 10 trucos favoritos de flatground. Recuerdo que ese dia no pude ver el evento en tiempo real debido a mi ubicacion,y tuve que llamar a un amigo que vive en Estados Unidos y hacer una videollamada para poder ver lo que pasaba en el concurso.estaba tan feliz a pesar de que no podia ver muy bien cuando escuche las palabras de Steve Berra (Leyenda del skateboarding) hablando de como es la realidad de los skaters cubanos,sin industria y sin tiendas. Ademas tuve la oportunidad de representar a mi pais, no importa que no gané para mi es mas importante que las miles de personas que vieron ese concurso vieron que nuestra cultura existe.🇨🇺
