IHT, Pensions & the SEND family
🎙️ NEW EPISODE: The impact of proposed IHT changes on pensions for special needs families 🎙️ We've had some brilliant guests on the podcast recently, but SENDA Founders Rhiannon Gogh and Ali Fanshawe wanted to share their thoughts this week on the proposed IHT changes on pensions. They have been working hard to lobby MPs in the past few weeks around the potentially devastating impacts that proposed IHT changes could have on pensions, which are often used as savings vehicles for families that have children and young people with special needs and disabilities and who want to help secure their children's financial futures if they are unable to work and care for themselves. In this podcast, Rhiannon & Ali talk about some of the technical changes that could impact on families, particularly those that may affect savings that are destined for Disabled or Vulnerable Persons Trusts. To find out more about this important issue, you can also read the article in Professional Adviser that Jen Frost recently published: https://lnkd.in/eGj4AA2SFinancial planningSpecial needs familiesDisability financial planningSpecial needs trustsFinancial securityFuture planningEstate planningWealth managementVulnerable persons trustDisabled persons trustDiscretionary trustWillWillsWills and trustsSpecial needs parentingCaregiver supportFamily budgetingLong-term care planningSibling planningGuardianshipLife care planningCaregiver financial stressCourt of protectiondeputyshipTax strategies for special needsGovernment benefitsFinancial aid for disabilitiesInsurance for special needs familiesDisability rights and financeInclusive financial educationTransition planning (school to adult life)Advocacy and financial literacyNavigating financial systemsEmpowering special needs familiesEnablingSENDASpecial needs and disabilitiesDisabled personDisabled ChildrenSpecial Educational NeedsSENDSENEducation Health & Care PlanEHCPFinancial planningPersonal financeWealth managementFinancial literacyMoney managementBudgeting tipsRetirement planningInvestment strategiesLong-term financial goalsFinancial independenceBudgeting basicsSaving strategiesInvesting 101Tax planningDebt managementCredit scoresEmergency fundsFinancial goalsPassive incomeEstate planningLife insuranceCritical Illness InsuranceShareholder insuranceKey Person InsurancePrivate Medical insuranceMillennials and moneyFinancial planning for familiesGen Z investingCouples and moneyMoney tips for parentsSmall business financesHow to build wealthFinancial freedomSmart money movesFrom debt to wealthMoney mindsetMaster your moneyStop living paycheck to paycheckAutismComplex AutismSpecial Needs ParentSpecial Needs parentingAutism MumAutism DadSpecialist SchoolsFinancial AdviserFinancial PlannerIFAChartered Financial Planner
