Reaper- FINALE
Thank you ever so much to Andy for commissioning this entire book and for adding on an additional episode so that I could really take my time. Because I NEEDED SOME TIME, KIDS.

Reaper, Chapters 23 & 24
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! It's the penultimate episode of coverage for Reaper, and I'm absolutely dying because there's so much being put on the table that I only partially understand, and I'm not given a chance to try to suss out what it can all mean because it's all followed up by the moment we've all feared; Suriel's marble goes out. Thanks so much to you all for listening, and I'm hoping you have been enjoying the coverage!

Reaper- Chapters 21 & 22
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones in which Lindon has a chat with Subject One's echo, and finds out that the monarchs in Cradle are the ones that are keeping the Dreadgods bound to his planet, and I think I am in good company when I say that I'm disgusted by them. Then, Lindon has to face one of those monarchs, because it turns out that Reigan Shen has not left the labyrinth after all. Thank you so much to you all for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Reaper, Chapters 18-20
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, I'm really sad because it turns out that we're having to say goodbye to the united crew as one by one, they each use up all their power coping with some major attacks from Subject One and then go back to the surface. I'm really curious why Ziel is the only one sent up to a totally different area than everything else, and I'm worried that our group is getting a little sabotaged here somehow. Meanwhile, Lindon and Eithan are still underground, and they're having a heart to heart about what Eithan's plans and goals have been. And then Ozriel shows up, and they're separated. Thanks for listening, and I will see you all again soon with a new episode!

Reaper, Chapters 14-17
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones in which we get a little further into the conflict with the Abidan, and I express some frustration with that whole plotline in the series and also some frustration with myself for having such trouble following what's going in within it. I would love to hear all your thoughts about that and how you all deal with it. Meanwhile, our people are in the labyrinth and beginning to sort of fight against its wishes as it essentially throws in with Reigan Shen, which is not a situation we want. And to top it off, Dross has been affected somehow and now he's a tiny tyrant with a black crown and I'm VERY concerned. Thanks so much to you all for listening!
-
72
Reaper, Chapters 11-13
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, the crew delves further into the labyrinth, and comes up against MULTIPLE hydras, moving floors and walls, and a variety of unpleasant scenarios involving being separated from one another. Then, to top it off, Reigan Shen turns up. DISLIKE.Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!

Reaper- Chapters 9 & 10
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones in which our crew begins their journey to the center of the labyrinth, and start to get an idea of just what they're going to be up against. Only an *idea*, you understand, because shit is pretty mild thisearly on. Meanwhile there's a whole thing that I am excited about between Jai Long and Wei Shit Kelsa, and I'm HERE for it! Thanks for listening, everyone, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Reaper, Chapters 7 & 8
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode!I am so nervous now because the vacation is now officially over and we're getting into the fray again. Can I just tell y'all how much I don't want to do this right now, with a weird psuedo-Dross tagging along? I just...look I love the team and I believe in them, but I'm worried. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you next week with a new episode!
-
69
Reaper- Chapters 5 & 6
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones in which I become convinced that Jai Long is falling for Wei Shi Kelsa, and I try to enjoy the peace of our friends living their lives while it lasts. Thanks for listening!
-
68
Reaper, Chapters 3 & 4
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones where we get to check back in with Mercy, Orthos, and Ziel. I was so relieved to see them, and also really pleased to see that they all seem like they're going to be basically okay. Well, other than Orthos still being absolutely HUGE. Also, Lindon finds out about the Sect Of Twin Stars and doesn't react at all how I'd expected. Thanks so much to you all for listening!
-
67
Reaper, Prologue & Chapters 1-2
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! I'm so very excited to be starting the most recent book in the Cradle series by Will Wight, Reaper! It's delightful to be back with our team, although I am very concerned by the fact that we still haven't seen Mercy, Orthos, or Ziel. I'm sure they're all fine, right? RIGHT? Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you next week with a new episode!

Cradle, Book 9- Bloodline- Chapters 19, 20 & Epilogue
Thank you again, and forever, to Andy for commissioning this episode, and the series. These final chapters are so exciting but also so devastating. I'm just incredibly sad about Dross, even though I'm certain he will be back and that in the end it will be fine. I'm just...already missing him. And what if he's not as much fun when he comes back? What if he's a stick in the mud? Or a...I don't know, maybe a jerk? Anyway. I loved this book but also I'm still mad at Will Wight and I think I need some time before I'm ready to forgive. Thanks for listening, and see you all when the next book comes!

Cradle, Book 9- Bloodline, Chapters 17 & 18
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode and this series. In these chapters, Lindon gets to have another sit-down with Suriel after all this time, which answers (in some ways) my questions about what's next for him after he saves Sacred Valley. Thing is, he's not really done with Sacred Valley, as it turns out, and he decides to head back on his own. Like an idiot. But I respect that. Thanks for listening!

Cradle, Book 9: Bloodline- Chapters 14, 15, & 16
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode, even though I'm ready to bust a vein due to blood pressure from my impatience. Thank you for doing this to me, Andy, but also how DARE you. These are the chapters in which Lindon keeps shit as on-schedule as he possibly can, until finally Malice decides that she's had enough and transports them all to Moongrave. He doesn't get to save as many as he wants, and I can only imagine how that's going to haunt him. Thank you all so much for listening, and I will see you all soon with a new episode!
-
63
Cradle, Book 9- Bloodline, Chapters 11-13
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, everyone that they are trying to save turns on them and I am DISGUSTED. Do you hear me? DISGUSTED.
-
62
Cradle, Book 9- Bloodline, Chapters 9 & 10
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones in which the team has split up and is attempting to convince different sects within Sacred Valley to evacuate, with mixed results. The most successful is Zeil, who barely has to make an argument because the clan he's speaking with specializes in Earth aura and already seems to understand what's happening...but as for everyone else, it hasn't been good. Even Lindon's task doesn't go super well, although he does get them convinced in the end. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
61
Cradle, Book 9- Bloodline, Chapters 6-8
Thank you again to Andy for commissioning this book! These are the chapters in which Lindon sees his mother and father again for the first time since leaving Sacred Valley, and it's truly devastating in a way that I was not prepared for. Uuuuuughhhhhh I haaaaate iiiiitttttttt
-
60
Cradle, Book 9- Bloodline, Chapters 3-5
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! This book is going to be so good. My god, I am blown away at how fast everything keeps moving, and I had no inkling that we were actually going to wind up in Sacred Valley this quickly and easily. Well, "easily" is certainly debatable. But quickly is still true. Thank you all so much for listening, and I hope you've been enjoying to coverage! See you soon with a new episode!

Cradle, Book 9: Bloodline- Prologue and Chapters 1&2
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG I am so excited to be starting this book. And shit really begins with a bang, because we not only have an escalating war within the Abidan that seems like it's gonna start being a real problem, but then we go into the micro-issue of dealing with fucking Seishen Daji. And lemme tell you, I am LOVING this moment more than anything. But then Fury ascends and honestly I'm super bummed out over it. I'm going to miss him, and I hope we get to reconnect with him soon. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Wintersteel- Chapters 26 & 27
Thank you so much to Andrew for commissioning this entire series! I am so happy and yet so so sad.
-
57
Wintersteel- Chapters 23-25
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! I'm so sorry that I'm so behind on posting these episodes, but I'm positive that it's all going to be worth the wait. These two chapters are the ones in which Yerin and Ruby bond with one another, and Yerin has created her own whole new ranking in the hierarchy of advancement. WOOHOO!Thanks for listening, and see you again soon!
-
56
Wintersteel- Chapters 20-22
I'm sorry these were posted out of order, there was an error and this didn't go up properly but i thought it had. Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! In these chapters (which is THREE chapters long) Ruby is able to activate a construct and go on a vacation without Yerin. And I'm honestly kinda freaked out that she's doing this and I don't know what to expect from her now. And also, Lindon is very freaked out as well. Thanks for listening, and I will see you all again soon with a new episode!
-
55
Wintersteel- Chapters 18 & 19
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These are the chapters in which Yerin is given a pretty badass gift from Northstrider, which I know so many of us would low-key kill someone to get our hands on. She's being showered with gifts that are so bonkers that it almost feels unfair, if it weren't for the fact that all of her competitors were getting the same level of help. This section also includes one of my favorite encounters, when Daji and Meira come across Lindon. Lindon (like many of us, I'm sure) is surprised that Meira isn't trying to fuck him up, and instead stops Daji from attacking...and once Lindon is gone she lays into Dahi herself. Oh boy that is so so sweet to read. *weeps softly*Thank you all again so much for listening, and I will see you again very soon with a new episode!
-
54
Wintersteel- Chapters 16 & 17
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! This section is the one in which Yerin faces off against her challenger, Calan Archer, and low-key loses control of her blood-shadow. She wins the fight in the end, but I can't help thinking that the fact she spends half the match fighting against her own weapon is going to make her look weak. Meanwhile, the two sages are each coming to their own conclusions regarding the shadow, and when her match is over the Winter Sage thinks she should starve it, while Charity thinks they should hone it and use it. I hope that's what they do. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
53
Wintersteel- Chapters 14 & 15
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These are the chapters that contain one of the major battles we've been waiting to see: Mercy versus Sophara. And Mercy loses. I'm so sad for her. I know that she is under a ton of pressure and that so much was riding on this for her family and for her mother, and I'm genuinely not sure what happens now. I am starting to think the tournament isn't going to be completed the way it's intended to be, but what would have to happen to throw things off-course?Thanks so much to you all for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
52
Wintersteel- Chapters 12 & 13
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones where Lindon gets into his first real fight with some higher-level members of Abyssal Palace and puts his new armor to the test. This armor is BADASS AS FUCK and is so overwhelming that his opponents (who barely escape with their lives) assume that using it must have killed him. Which honestly is so much fun because they are going to shit their pants when they set eyes on him again. Thank you again so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
51
Wintersteel- Chapters 10 & 11
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! In these chapters we get a little more background on what happened with the Aurelius patriarch, although not as much detail as I would have preferred. This also makes it difficult to stomach the deal that Eithan makes with Reigan Shen to throw the matches, although I'm hoping it will result in revenge eventually. Also there's something amazing happening with Lindon being in command of the Akura team. We're watching Lindon blossom as a leader and gain a certain measure of confidence that he hasn't had until now. I'm so excited! Thank you all for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!
-
50
Wintersteel- Chapters 8 & 9
THank you very much to Andrew for commissioning this episode! These are the chapters in which Lindon is assigned to head up the Akura clan's team fighting against the coming cults, and he grows immediately obsessed with points to a degree that has everyone around him looking askance. I'm absolutely delighted with this turn of events, and I can't wait to see if Pride suddenly starts respecting him or what. Not likely. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
49
Wintersteel- Chapters 6 & 7
Thank you to Andrew for commissioning this episode! I'm so sorry about the sound quality in this episode, but I was having a problem with Garageband and had to rip the audio from the Crowdcast session. Hopefully it's not too too terrible. I'm so sad in this section because this is when Lindon has to say goodbye to his buddies due to the fact that he's the only one who didn't make it to the last stage. It's insult to injury and I felt so terrible for him and all I can hope is that this all proves to be worth it. Thank you all so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
48
Wintersteel- Chapters 4 & 5
Thank you very much to Andrew for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, Lindon and Yerin go on their first date, and it's everything I ever wanted.
-
47
Wintersteel - Chapters 2&3
Thank you so much to Andrew for commissioning this episode! So we're finally getting some people pull out all the stops, and the one I'm OF COURSE most interested in is Eithan because damn but he makes quick work of this bitch and it's truly so fucking satisfying. DAYUM. I can't believe I have to wait like 3 weeks before I get to record on the next one! D:
-
46
Wintersteel- Prologue & Chapter 1
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! I don't know why it didn't really register in the finale of the previous book that we still didn't have an Uncrowned champion, but I guess I was just so distracted by all the other great stuff going on that I failed to notice. This section we're getting to see the conversation with all the Monarchs that Lindon might not have gotten to go to at all if not for Northstrider taking an interest in...Dross. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
45
Uncrowned- Chapters 19 & 20
Thank you very much to Andrew for commissioning this episode! I'm so delighted by these chapters, guys. I'm not getting into much in the text because I'm trying to get these all posted by vacation, but damn getting to see Lindon and Yerin face off is so good. SO GOOD. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
44
Uncrowned- Chapters 17 & 18
Thank you again to Andy for commissioning this episode! So I've decided to slow down my reading for the remainder of the coverage because I'm always running behind when I record, and in accordance with that I'm only covering two chapters of this last section. And as it turns out, it was the right decision. Because holy shit there's a lot to talk about. Yerin and Lindon are going to fight and I am SO EXCITED. And mad. But mostly excited. Thanks for listening, and I will see you again shortly with the finale of this book!
-
43
Uncrowned- Chapters 14-16
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! I'm almost done with this book and I am absolutely not ready. This section we get an absolutely devastating sequence where Lindon manages to pull an OG Blackflame out of his madness using his friend Little Blue. The elation he feels at doing a bit of good is one of the most pure senses of success he's ever experienced. And the Sophara kills the guy anyway. It's brutal, you guys. I wasn't ready. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
42
Uncrowned- Chapters 11-13
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! So in this section we see Lindon reveal a little more about himself than I gave him credit for, and after kind of showing his hand he winds up rocketing up to number 10 and getting noticed. Yerin comes in right after him, and I just have to say that I'm so delighted there's a way that they can start off competing with one another without actually fighting. Then we get the Hunger Games version of the Tournament that I expected from the start, and it turns out that they're going to be fighting over these weird crowns. And who shows up? You know who. And she's pissed and vicious and I'm askeered. Thank you very much for listening and I will see you again soon with a new episode!
-
41
Uncrowned- Chapters 8-10
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! In this section we wind up at the Ninecloud Empire for the tournament and it's a close thing for Yerin & Co. regarding their arrival in time to qualify. I'm shocked at how cavalier everyone is regarding the attacks on the way to the competition, and I keep questioning why the damn dragons are even allowed in the tournament. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED???Also, we get to see the start of Round 1 and it's very different than what I was expecting. It's more structured and methodical than I thought, although I kind of like it. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!
-
40
Uncrowned- Chapters 3-7
Thank you Andrew for commissioning this episode! I gotta say, I really love how this author has chosen to address the fact that Lindon never received official combat training. This is actually an elegant way to incorporate that into the story in a natural way that accounts for the fact that there are some things that grit and determination are no substitute for, as much as we might like to pretend formal education doesn't matter. Also, I'm really interested in seeing the way that Eithan is guiding Yerin, because he's spent so much time and energy on Lindon that I really don't know what's in store for her. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
39
Uncrowned- Prologue & Chapters 1-3
Thank you ever so much to Andrew for commissioning this episode! To start off this new book, we sort of pick up where the previous book left off in its epilogue, by rejoining Lindon's sister and Orthos. It turns out that there's something fucked up going on in Sacred Valley that seems to be sapping people's power away. Whaaaa?Meanwhile, there's a whole thing with Ozriel's Scythe and the fact that Makiel has been attempting to create a comparable weapon, resulting in a bunch of prototypes that have been put in storage. Except that someone stole them, and she seems a little too confident that she can upgrade their functionality. I don't like it. Also, Lindon and the Akura family's underlords are NOT getting along. Thanks for listening! See you next week!
-
38
Underlord- Chapters 19-20 & Epilogue
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! Oh man this is an upsetting ending, y'all. I mean, all my friends made it out and managed to advance and got into the Uncrowned King tournament...but I'm devastated that Kiro died and that Lindon is going to be separated from Yerin for the duration of the lead-up to the competition. And I'm mad at Charity over this. I am just ANNOYED. AT EVERYTHING. Okay that's it for now, see you soon with a new episode!
-
37
Underlord- Chapters 17 & 18
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode for me! In these chapters, we've got the fight inside the vault, and shit is really going down in a way that leaves me baffled as to how our crew is going to be able to move forward and advance. When in the hell are they going to be able to do that???They're right on the edge, though, and that makes this confrontation really tense. I just hate Daji so much and hope he dies, and meanwhile his brother seems like such a good egg...just tell me he's gonna be okay! Thanks for listening, and I will see you all again soon with a new episode!
-
36
Underlord- Chapters 13-16
Thank you very much to Andrew for commissioning this episode! In these chapters of Underlord, we get to see some of the potential that Dross holds which Lindon hadn't even considered. Soulsmiths use constructs called Drudges that help them make sense of the ingredients they use and predict interactions, and it looks like Dross could potentially serve that function for Lindon. How cool is that? Also, we find out that Charity is very specifically pitting the Seishens against our crew in a much more personal way (or so it seems to me) than I thought she was willing to stoop to. I deeply resent the fact that she's in there listening openly, and they allow her to because they trust her, and then she just flies off and narcs on them. Fuck you, Charity. Thanks so much for listening to this episode, and I will see you soon with more!
-
35
Underlord- Chapters 9-12
Thank you to Andy for commissioning this episode! I'm really starting to get concerned about how good this author is at introducing new characters that are here to fight Lindon, and then making me LIKE them so I don't even really want them to lose. Like, that's just kinda rude, you know? Also, I am NOT please at the injury that Yerin has taken. At all. I know she's likely going to be fine, but I swear to god I love her so much and I will RIOT if she dies. DO YOU HEAR ME???Thanks for listening!
-
34
Underlord- Chapters 6-8
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! So this is the episode with the chapter that made me cry and then talking about it I cried again and that's all I'm going to say about that.
-
33
Underlord- Chapters 3-5
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters we're dealing with a whole new mission being presented to the crew, in the form of an officially sanctioned competition called the Uncrowned King Tournament. It looks like there's going to be some other very formidable foes on the field, and one of them is Seishen Kiro, AKA The Reluctant Mountain as I'm going to call him from now on. I like this guy, and I don't want him going up against my Lindon. I want everyone to get along! Is that too much to ask? Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
32
Underlord- Prologue & Chapters 1-2
Thank you so much to Andrew for commissioning this series! These chapters begin with massive battle of proportions which it is hard for my poor brain to comprehend. We get to see the vroshir for the first time and they are taken care of relatively easily by Suriel, but I swear to god they're just able to like...start off a volcanic eruption? Really? Damn. Meanwhile, Lindon is realizing that he's sick and tired of being pushed around, and that since he's not a fucking Copper anymore he doesn't have to take it. So he decides to fuck up the Skysworn's day, and they deserve every bit of it. Thank you all so much for listening, and I will see you next week with a new episode!
-
31
Ghostwater- Chapters 16-18
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! These chapters are so wonderful and make me so so happy. I swear to god, this is just a really good time and I'm deeply fucking here for it and that's all I'm going to say. I love it. I love it. See you soon with Underlord!
-
30
Ghostwater- Chapters 13-15
Thank you very much to Andy for commissioning this episode! I'm soooo interested in Eithan's deal and where his magic comes from. He seems to have so much in common with Lindon, both in terms of the pure madra and the fact that he is able to apparently pull in the madra from an attack and redirect it back to his attacker and I just wanna know more! Also, I can't tell y'all how worried I am about Dross. I'm sure everything will be fine (well...PRETTY sure) but I swear to god when I realized Harmony was actually leaving holding Dross in his hand I was so upset. GAH. Thank you all again for listening, and I will see you again very soon with a new episode!
-
29
Ghostwater- Chapters 10-12
Thank you very much to Andrew for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, Lindon is able to level up again, and he's even getting to the point where he can create a whole new technique that is completely his, which is totally rad. Not only that, but we really get a chance to "meet" Ziel in a way we haven't before, and he fucking cracks me up. He is so exhausted, and it seems like that's due to a personal tragic injury, which sucks, but I do enjoy his feeling sort of DONE with the whole thing. Thank you all again for listening, and I will see you again soon with the next episode!
-
28
Ghostwater- Chapters 7-9
Thank you so much to Andy for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, Lindon finally has to go toe-to-toe with the Ekeri Dragon Bitch (as I am wont to call her) but when he finally kills her, it just angers a whole other Dragon Bitch. Which I feel like is understandable, but also deeply unfair. Also I find the whole concept of this dragon clan really fascinating, and while I don't necessarily wanna spend a lot of time in the new Dragon Bitch's POV, I am very curious to learn more about how their whole jam works, the way they're viewed by other dragons, etc. Thanks again so much for listening, and I will see you all again soon with a new episode.
