Spoko Café was born out of my frustration with the club scene’s commercial constraints, where creativity is often sacrificed for crowd-pleasing hits. I wanted a space where I—and others in our 20s—could explore sound without compromise. A space for good music, community, and cultural expression outside of the club’s limiting expectations.
