The siblings are back! With a nibling - Ali joins for a nostalgic rewatch that stands the test of time, which is impressive considering people born in 2007 can buy alcohol now. Paranormal Activity is genre-defining and a shining example of how good a low-budget horror movie can be.

Even with a full body split scene and an unrelenting dedication to clowning, Terrifier doesn't quite do what it says on the box; while it's held back by weak acting and a barren plot, it definitely isn't boring. Fayth's pick

Grotesque, disgusting, absurd, and yet somehow delightful; Mad God is an amazingly artistic work of pure horror and a masterclass in atmosphere. Oliver's pick.

Beautiful, chilling, and Fayth's favourite Nic Cage performance of all time. The siblings were a little disappointed in Longlegs, but would probably still recommend it. Oliver's pick.

Oddity is a great all-around horror film that isn't far from perfect - tasteful jump scares, mysterious characters, and a monster that really steals the show make this one of the better horror movies of 2024 and one the siblings would highly recommend. Fayth's pick

Fayth challenges an old fear and emerges victorious on the other side. Some decent elements make the original Amityville Horror not the worst thing we've ever watched, but it wouldn't get a real recommendation from either of the siblings. Fayth's pick.

Probably the most satisfying, refreshing, and engaging alien movie we've seen since Alien ;  No One Will Save You is a wonderfully original portrayal of a familiar, beloved monster. Fayth's pick.

A legendary genre crossover, Bone Tomahawk is worth watching just for that scene. This movie is not a one-trick pony however, tremendous performances, and the perfect western atmosphere make this a must watch for fans of either genre. Dead Alive might be the most fun the siblings have ever had in a horror movie. With a script equal parts absurd and hilarious, spectacular performances from the cast, and masterful directing, it is an instant favourite. Featuring Chelsey Belec from the DramFine podcast - if you're a whiskey lover, check them out! 

Our first fan-submitted movie! In the siblings' opinions, Hide and seek falls short of the potential magic a pairing like Dakota Fanning and Robert DeNiro could make, but scores some points with a deep and layered plot. Mixed reviews on the twist. Thank you Angela for the pick this week!

While overall an enjoyable experience, The Descent proves that no film makes it out of the mid-2000's without a fair amount of cringe. Notable standouts are claustrophobia, caveman Sarah, and Juno's hat. Fayth's pick.

A surprising first-time watch for the siblings, The Thing is an instant favorite and the most fun they've had in a while. Absolutely amazing props and effects are what earned this move it's cult classic status, and, in the siblings's opinions, have aged like a fine wine. Oliver's pick.

Late Night with the Devil? More like, Call it a Night....with the Devil. While technically a good movie with tons of nostalgia and charm, it is not nearly scary enough, and thus not a memorable watch. Oliver's pick

Twists, deception, girl stew, and more than enough gore to satisfy even the most hard-nosed horror vet; Hellhole should be considered among the best horror movies of 2022 and a must-watch in the genre. If someone knows where to find one of those crosses, let me know. Fayth's pick

The best way to watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose is to not watch it at all, and instead read the much-scarier Wikipedia page of Anneliese Michel, the real woman this movie is based on. Not bad as a courtroom/lawyer movie, but falls terribly short as a horror movie. Fayth's pick.

A fun, gory watch with tons of 80's absurdity; Hellraiser is a unanimous thumbs up from the siblings, and, as is proper etiquette, they ever so briefly touch on it's status as a cult classic. Oliver's pick.

The Crazies is one of the siblings' favourite zombie movies and one they'd consider among the best ever. Non-stop action and memorable scenes make this a must-watch for any zombie lover.Oliver's pick

Severely lacking the charm of X, Pearl is a boring, disappointing sequel. Although it has plenty of beautiful acting, set design, and cinematography, that's not enough to make Pearl worth watching in the siblings' opinions. Oliver's pick.

The siblings definitely recommend watching X - especially if you're a fan of the slasher genre - it's fun, original, smart, and just the right amount of bloody; skip the first hour, though. Oliver's pick.

A true masterpiece and horrific in every sense of the word, Hereditary is Fayth's favourite movie and high on the siblings' list. Fayth's pick.

Beloved but not perfect, As Above So Below hits a lot of the siblings' horror movie needs and is always a fun rewatch. 

A masterclass in wasted potential, Baskin is a disappointing watch for the siblings, who had high hopes coming into this film.

The siblings are huge fans of the Silent Hill video game franchise - the movies, ehh...not so much. 

Belly buttons? General Mills? The POOkeepsie tapes is a hard pass from the Siblings. Oliver's pick.

A legend in two classes, Alien is a classic of both horror and sci-fi and should be in anyone's list of all-time greats from either genre. The siblings are both huge fans and in-between praising it, explore and discuss almost everything about the film and it's lore. A massively influential film, Alien is a must watch for any fan of horror, sci-fi or just pop culture.

Fayth's pick - Oliver had some complaints which Fayth took VERY personally as this is one of her favs. A fun, gory adventure into space hell with tons of charm.

A BIG thumbs up from both Fayth and Oliver, Mother! is a great watch for all interested in the horror genre.
