Brett and Caiden are hoping the Cubs can make a playoff run without Horton.-Caiden is 9-3 in the last two weeks picking NFL games. Brett thinks Terence Crawford is the best boxer of the generation and would have KO'd any version of Floyd Mayweather.

The Sports Life had the opportunity to interview and talk sports with Jeff Meller from ESPN. Jeff has been in the business for over 20 years and is currently the voice of the White Sox Pre and Post-Game on ESPN 1000.We were able to talk to Jeff about how he got started in the business amongst many other things. We also covered how Amon-Ra St. Brown called Chicago's food "mid", which the Sports Life took serious offense to. We closed with March Madness and MLB.

Brett runs a solo pod since Uncle Clint and Caiden are MIA. We are ready for a great spring pod season with MLB, NBA, and March Madness grabbing the upcoming sports headlines.

Caiden and Brett have been busy, but were able to get a pod out with some NFL playoff predictions. We are also adding a new segment to the pod which we mention at the end.

Brett and Caiden talk about Belichick's move to coach UNC and the fact that he is dating a 24 year old. Weird. They also run through the Cubs getting Kyle Tucker from the Astros. Brett pleads for Vladdy Jr. as the Cubs need more production from the corners. Then the boys deliver their weekly NFL Pick 6.

Brett and Caiden review the Bears Thanksgiving disaster. They also cover their first 6-0 week in the Pick 6 and make their picks for this Sunday. Finally, a Heisman debate where Brett makes a case for Ashton Jeanty and Caiden likes Travis Hunter.

Although the pod studio is getting a facelift, we still snuck in a pod before Thanksgiving. We covered how Caleb Williams is progressing. Brett and Caiden chose the Capital Grill as their steak house if Josh Allen makes the Super Bowl. We also did our special pick 6 where we picked all of the Thanksgiving Day games. We closed with the MLB and the fact that the Dodgers have become an unstoppable force.

The SportsLife had its first father-son combo night as Pat and Nate Woods joined the show. We spent some time complaining about the Cubs, then we jumped into some NBA talk. We closed the show with a short interview with Pat focused on high school sports.

The guys complain about the declining Cubs. What are they going to do to generate more offense? The Bears will be on Hard Knocks which will give the Pod lots of fun content in the NFL Preseason. The NBA Finals looks to be a promising match-up. We close discussing the fall of the American Heavyweight boxer.

The Cubs continue to struggle offensively and have fallen to 27-27. We are prematurely previewing a Celtics-Mavericks NBA Finals. We close with a tribute to the great Bill Walton.

We introduce Genius Scott to the show as we cover the world of sports. Uncle Clint jumps topics faster than Usain Bolt. We even hit some golf and boxing! Genius Scott knows every World Series match-up from 1945-2000.

The Cubs are in full swing and are off to a 5-2 start. Brett thinks Suzuki could be an MVP sleeper. The Bulls are preparing for the play-in tournament. Caiden continues to be hopeful but a run from the Bulls is unlikely.

We were able to get the Schumachers on the Pod to discuss a little bit of everything. The NFL's free agency gave us a lot to cover. Plus, the MLB season is quickly approaching and we are ready for Cubs baseball. To close, we finished with some NCAA tournament talk.

We talked about the top NFL free agents and potential landing spots. We talked about how these moves could affect where Justin Fields ultimately lands. Finally, we got into some early MLB predictions and Caiden ran through his entire Cubs roster. (We may have let the mic run an few extra minutes)
