As the saying goes, Sean Payton is going to be laughing all the way to the bank...or in this case all the way to the NFL Playoffs. A recent PFF ranking puts your Denver Broncos as the 4th worst running back room in the entire NFL. This is wild on a number of levels. First off- JK Dobbins was the best running back in the AFC West, so how are the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Las Vegas Raiders all ranked above us?!? The Raiders, and Chargers are in our same boat- they have unproven rookies. There is no world in which the Raiders should be 15 spots ahead of us. Ashton Jeanty hasn't proven anything in the NFL. Sean Payton has a history of finding diamonds in the ruff. The same people who told you that Caleb Williams was wildly better than Bo Nix are the people telling you that Ashton Jeanty is wildly better than RJ Harvey. Let's see how it plays out. The hate on JK Dobbins is criminal, and the more I actually look into his production at Ohio State, and with the Chargers, the more hyped I am to see him lining up next to Bo Nix. The Denver Broncos running back room is WAY better than the national media give it credit for, and that's something we should all Bo-LIEVE in!

Sean Payton just went back to the well. After the success of signing UFL standout Dondrea Tillman, they sign another UFL star, Mario Goodrich... This former Clemson standout player earned All ACC, and was the MVP of the Bowl Game he played in his senior year with a pick 6 and a forced fumble. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants but just couldn't stay healthy in either spot. Its a very curious move to bring in a defensive back when we already have such a loaded room but I'm trusting Sean Payton and what he wants. Is he trying to turn up the heat in training camp with guys like Jahdae Barron and Ja'Quan McMillian? Might this be a sign that we try to trade Ja'Quan before the season starts? Either way- we know that Sean Payton believes that our defense will be Bo Nix and companies best friend next year. Bo Nix will need to score 19 points per game and we will win most games. We saw Bucky Irving have over 1500 yards last year from scrimmage and he only played on 45% of their snaps. RJ Harvey and Audric Estime will absolutely still develop and Sean Payton is a Genius! He is truly playing checkers while everyone else is playing minecraft. I cannot wait to see this Bo Nix led offense with tight end Evan Engram, with Pat Bryant, with RJ Harvey, and with JK Dobbins. The Denver Broncos kind of have a problem. There is WAY too much talent on this roster and we can only have 53 men on our active roster. The energy in Broncos Country needs to get cranked to an 11. Not since Payton Manning choosing the Denver Broncos has there been so much hope. We hear so many folks rave about Bo Nix that it's starting to become background noise. We heard today that Talanoa Huffanga chose the Denver Broncos because of Bo Nix, we heard RJ Harvey say the Broncos were the team he was hoping to be drafted by because of Bo Nix, we heard Vonn Miller say that Bo Nix is the "real deal" and we heard Sean Payton say that Bo Nix was lightyears ahead of where he was this time last year. Bo Nix said he has accomplished nothing yet, and still hasn't hit his floor. We also hear Sean Payton say he expects BIG things out of Troy Franklin in year two and we see some other great things at first open availability of Broncos OTA's. We have a TON to Bo-LIEVE in!

Sean Payton has got to be giggling with excitement as he thinks about what his defense is going to do to the entire AFC West this year. While everyone is giving all the praise to Dre Greenlaw and Talanoa Huffanga and Jahdae Barron, no one is talking about the return of our defensive captain, the return of our lead tackler for several seasons in Alex Singleton. Alex is a massive upgrade to anything we had at inside linebacker last year, and we were already a top 3 defense in the league. What will we look like with two BEASTS at inside linebacker, and a shutdown slot corner, and a platoon of edge rushers. Bo Nix is going to win a LOT of games if he puts up even similar numbers to his rookie year just because our defense is so much better. But I don't think Bo Nix will put up similar numbers, I expect his numbers to blossom this year as he finally has a tight end and a running game. The Denver Broncos are in a Super Bowl Window and it's something we should all BO-LIEVE in!

Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos are going to win the AFC West. We broke down last week how bad the Kansas City Chiefs offseason was, but the Los Angeles Chargers may have had an even worse one! Dating back to last season, Justin Herbert got blown out in a playoff game, and despite having tons of cap space, (2nd most in the entire NFL) they came out of the offseason with very little to show for it. The Los Angeles Chargers lost 4 key starters including Joey Bosa, Puna Ford, Asante Samuel Jr, Kristian Fulton, and Josh Palmer. On top of that, they swung and missed hard on adding Evan Engram. The Los Angeles Chargers may actually finish last in the AFC west and I'm not saying that just to dunk on Jim Harbaugh. Sean Payton is a better coach, Bo Nix will take a step forward, and the Denver Broncos will Win the AFC West. We have a TON to Bo-LIEVE in!
