Early on his career he was sent to be trained in the Duluth Model to provide group interventions for men that have an SUD diagnosis and are abusive to their partners. In 2014, he founded an organization called Families in Support of Treatment (F.I.S.T.). This organization was created to provide support, resources, education and advocacy for those impacted by a loved one's addiction. In 2014 F.I.S.T. played a primary role in the passing of eleven bills in NYS to improve access to treatment. Anthony has provided lectures and presentations around the country on various topics such as "The Correlation Between Substance Abuse and Domestic Violence", "Addictions Impact on the Family & The Families Ability to Impact Addiction" and a plethora of other topics.
