Hard to do for two perfectionists!

Comparing the highs and lows of being show-less, expressing uncertainty about the future, and reminiscing on past shows are but a few of the topics discussed in this episode! In this week’s one-act, Léa and Chandler close out their experiences with Ramsey Theatre Company’s Little Shop of Horrors and WKU Theatre & Dance Department’s Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom. And it’s all about horror! From musical theatre, to straight plays, to films to video games, nothing is off the table. Sit in on a “slice” of musical theatre horror theory and realizations.

This week, Léa and Chandler discuss burnout; what can cause it, how we manage it, and, most importantly, how we find ways to get through it! This week we bond over our current tech-prep and tech weeks for Little Shop of Horrors and Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, as a stage manager and actor respectively. How do we get through imposter syndrome, tiring rehearsals, or simply bad days? Join us in reminding ourselves of our value and worth as artists.

This week, the duo talks about exciting Grammy wins, their dreams, hopes, fears, and everything that has led them to their current path as artists here at Western Kentucky University.
