There's more to cover, as it always seems, but jazzed with all the fascinating problems we discover and can laugh at. What solutions... maybe soon this show becomes the place we deep discuss what could be. Stay tuned.

Show Notes | Notable Moments in Travel
New friend from an airplane, abruptly cancelled takeoff, and a poem about my dreams. The fellas I mentioned with great perspective and ideas on connecting are Charles Duhigg (who wrote Superconnectors). Specifically his conversation with Jefferson Fisher is a great conversation on connecting and communication.

Kyle Irion Sunset Marketing Hangover
What came first the cataclysm, ladder or the rope, the leaf guard or the mountain dew that cured our drunken liver woes. The conversation felt a place to steep a bag of tea. Instead we had an unnamed drink of chunks. the recipe? it's coming.

Please enjoy :) Massage for the temples as a form of surrender. Grace as a key to the greatest relations. Power couple outside, forged in the messy responses with love and perspective. Would rather sit quiet than to speak about the weather. See my desires through the lens of reflection. Energy balance, aware and dissecting. Seeking the rooted connections. Where are you going, what is the vision? Two minutes? can you give me like ninety? I ask myself often the same simple question, but I’m learning it opens with time.

Larry Freeney (Pt 4)
Larry my friend with the catalogue of catalyst content. This is the fourth installment of our recorded conversations. phrase for the phase. "is it more important in this moment than my mortuary?"Intro is ~58 min :)Some topics we covered: - boredom is the door - stop consuming, start creating- scandanavian words go hard- what is the most vulnerable emotion? - life is only truly experienced through emotions. intellectual “experience” is only abstracted conceptualization. - heros don’t emerge but from dark circumstances- don’t put more time in your life, put more life in your time

Signals | Alex Uskoski
No intro this week. Cold starts and warm takes. I need to bolster this seat that I sit in, back aches. Last time we sat to chat this long was never. Best part of doing this thing is the weather... conversation never happens. Break the surface. Tell me what you do with your time, what you work on. Would you do it any different if they gave you the keys? Is the future getting brighter, are you watering seeds?I've known this guy since elementary school. Yet, I didn't know much at all. Amazing how much you can learn when you give it some time. I'm curious if he remembers this one summer when we had sleepovers at each other's houses for like 4 consecutive nights. I'll ask him next time. If you're watching the video - forgive the drift. I don't understand how space time got warped, but the audio and video files somehow ended up different lengths. I'd love to understand and correct it someday. Today, I'd rather publish and keep practicing. Have a great weekend :)

Save the best for last, we forgot. All these parenting questions, next we talk. Bridal fathers, tensions high, retreat to the corporate trips justified. Jammin in your 'jamas, remote work the jam. what a treat to connect, soon again we'll make plans.

Show Notes | Embracing Contradictions
self talk. sounds weird but feels right. the calm I felt after this, and how much different it was to the comparative unrest prior, was a cue. shrug life.As for Afroman commentary. - The album is called The Good Times. She Won't Let Me Fuck & Hush are two of my favorites from the album I didn't mention. - The other two songs I mentioned that are great and not on the album were both released on the "Sell Your Dope" albumin 2020 - Sell Your Dope and Hungry Hustler (not the name I knew in high school).- Though I never actually mentioned it, the difficult question I referenced that led to this was 'favorite album of all time' and I have never been able to pick just one. Love the struggle of it.

Starters | Larry Freeney (Pt 1)
"I only want masterful, legendary work to have my name on it when I put it out there." - Larry Accepting imperfections, ever testing, doesn't let up. Patience for the progress incremental, so they peddle. Keeping up with tangents in the talking? best of luck friends. Between the exploration and amazement, said a lot. This is Larry - he's a coach, a counselor, a teacher. Great person, great influence.

Show Notes | Audio Alchemist Wanted
I am looking for a partner in production. An excellent audio video editor. Someone who is into this whole 'changing the world for the better' thing. Pursuing purpose. If you know anyone who fits this description, I'd love if you connected us. This episode is a hybrid. Some music I made back a while, an update and some quick reflections on the show. Much more on the way, and I'm excited to share it with you. Note - In the song I read a passage from Self-Reliance by Ralph Waldo Emerson. But now we are a mob. These are not my words. I just really liked them.

The Sunset Marketing Department. A little bit of homework, and a lot of wingin it. Still workshopping some things. Like who comes up with ads. and what ideas are appropriate in the workplace. and whether to fire the guy with the hair for trying to sabotage the show.Disclaimer: Sunset Radio does not endorse nor believe anything anyone in the Marketing Department says, for fear.

"I want to hear your best FM radio DJ intro." - Milan The bots are here to listen in. Let's hope it's not to fake my friends. Evening call but the energy teems. Mr. Rogers tattoo sleeves. Pubs and fests, no phones, let's talk. Learning a language, culture and clock. Buy your time back, it is all that you have. Remote celebrations with laser light dads. Can't put a price on the time in between, but the space that's within all the plans is the green grass. Also, would you be willing to come visit? I'd love to chat in person.

"You wanted to buy everybody flowers." - DillonStudio session two is much better. Though, I'm still slightly nervous that I didn't record. Tundras are breaking, my son wins debates, and we learn what it takes to get 85%. Cranes are dang dangerous. My wife is amazing. I joke but she knows that I'm toast if she wasn't. Perception is crazy. Is it green first or black. Swinging his foot from the sky to attach. Deep in the weeds, the mechanic mind. At least there's some distance for breathing. I need space. Also, what really happens if you don't take the medicine you must?

Show Notes | Tariffs, Taxes, Tribal Opinions
Tangents in developing my thinking. Exploring what I know and offering a place to start a conversation. What might be possible if we opened up communication on complex or taboo topics? Learning, understanding, connection, kindness. Do you have thoughts you want to unpack? Difficult topics you want to explore? I would genuinely love to hear them and join you on the journey.

Signals | with Kyle Legato
"Have you ever listened to Buckethead?" - KyleWe ran way over, Kate came knocking. Audio ghosts, recordings choppy. Considered deleting but still felt worth it. Progress over perfection. Soon enough, it'll be too late. Or maybe it already is for you, mate. Bill Hicks, step outside, hear the crickets. Prof at the Nickatina concert was sick. Most that we've talked in at least a full decade. Life as an ignorant chap was less stress, eh? Blessed all the same. I enjoy the perspectives. Pizza left out overnight was untested. Until now. Also, what if making someone smile could change their whole life? The idea is that the recording sounds better in person. Stick around, we'll get there. Any audio engineers want to come visit me?

Signals | with Kyle Irion
"There's no way they make catcher's gear small enough for you." - KyleCouldn't pitch, but he's quarterback. Looks are slick and he sort of raps. Marketing chops, yet to be tested, Super Bowl Patty didn't bring out the best. Planning a wedding and nervously farting. Sea World is better at his bachelor party. High five and butt tap, the champ, he's a prodigy. What else did we cover on the show? you just gotta see. Also, how do you truly align incentives with purpose?

Signals | with Kevin Barth
"You just asked a question, and then rambled for a couple more minutes in a different direction." - KevinAmbition is frothy, but who builds the future? Names in the corner is lame, what to do. We used to wrestle. I would win. Then he moved. Ugh, I forgot to press record. Flippin' cool. Also, how might we optimize the flow of monetary energy? Yes, we missed the first hour of our conversation. It'll live on in lore. I'm a wiz at show production.

Signals | with Dillon Conner
"Did you like speech class?" - Dillon This is day 1. Pleated pants to please your parents, seeing the Roman Empire perish, toddler tales that lead to stares, and Kids Club wouldn't hire me. Also, what if you realized nobody cared about your outfit back in middle school? Perfect? no. Somewhere to start? yes. Launch and learn. A new idea I'm holding onto.
