There's more to cover, as it always seems, but jazzed with all the fascinating problems we discover and can laugh at. New friend from an airplane, abruptly cancelled takeoff, and a poem about my dreams. The fellas I mentioned with great perspective and ideas on connecting are Charles Duhigg (who wrote Superconnectors). Specifically his conversation with Jefferson Fisher is a great conversation on connecting and communication.

What came first the cataclysm, ladder or the rope, the leaf guard or the mountain dew that cured our drunken liver woes. The conversation felt a place to steep a bag of tea. Instead we had an unnamed drink of chunks. the recipe? it's coming.

No intro this week. Cold starts and warm takes. I need to bolster this seat that I sit in, back aches. Last time we sat to chat this long was never. Best part of doing this thing is the weather... conversation never happens. Break the surface. Tell me what you do with your time, what you work on. Would you do it any different if they gave you the keys? Is the future getting brighter, are you watering seeds?I've known this guy since elementary school. Yet, I didn't know much at all. Amazing how much you can learn when you give it some time. I'm curious if he remembers this one summer when we had sleepovers at each other's houses for like 4 consecutive nights. I'll ask him next time. If you're watching the video - forgive the drift. I don't understand how space time got warped, but the audio and video files somehow ended up different lengths. self talk. sounds weird but feels right. the calm I felt after this, and how much different it was to the comparative unrest prior, was a cue. shrug life.As for Afroman commentary. - The album is called The Good Times. She Won't Let Me Fuck & Hush are two of my favorites from the album I didn't mention. - The other two songs I mentioned that are great and not on the album were both released on the "Sell Your Dope" albumin 2020 - Sell Your Dope and Hungry Hustler (not the name I knew in high school).- Though I never actually mentioned it, the difficult question I referenced that led to this was 'favorite album of all time' and I have never been able to pick just one. Love the struggle of it.

"You wanted to buy everybody flowers." - DillonStudio session two is much better. Though, I'm still slightly nervous that I didn't record. Tundras are breaking, my son wins debates, and we learn what it takes to get 85%. Cranes are dang dangerous. My wife is amazing. I joke but she knows that I'm toast if she wasn't. Perception is crazy. Is it green first or black. Swinging his foot from the sky to attach. Deep in the weeds, the mechanic mind. At least there's some distance for breathing. I need space. Also, what really happens if you don't take the medicine you must?

Tangents in developing my thinking. Exploring what I know and offering a place to start a conversation. What might be possible if we opened up communication on complex or taboo topics? Learning, understanding, connection, kindness. Do you have thoughts you want to unpack? Difficult topics you want to explore? I would genuinely love to hear them and join you on the journey.

Most that we've talked in at least a full decade. Life as an ignorant chap was less stress, eh? Blessed all the same. I enjoy the perspectives. Pizza left out overnight was untested. Until now. Also, what if making someone smile could change their whole life? The idea is that the recording sounds better in person. Stick around, we'll get there. Any audio engineers want to come visit me?

Marketing chops, yet to be tested, Super Bowl Patty didn't bring out the best. Planning a wedding and nervously farting. Sea World is better at his bachelor party. High five and butt tap, the champ, he's a prodigy. What else did we cover on the show? you just gotta see. Also, how do you truly align incentives with purpose?

"Did you like speech class?" - Dillon This is day 1. Pleated pants to please your parents, seeing the Roman Empire perish, toddler tales that lead to stares, and Kids Club wouldn't hire me. Also, what if you realized nobody cared about your outfit back in middle school? Perfect? no. Somewhere to start? yes. Launch and learn. A new idea I'm holding onto.
