BPD Relationship - Defending and Explaining Yourself

BPD Relationship - Defending and Explaining Yourself?in BPD Relationships of any relationship type each individual ends up defending and explaining yourself to the person with BPD. Why? Because you are trying to get themto hear you, to see you and you are trying to get them to change. Often many peoplewith BPD will not seek treatment, take any personal responsibility and they have communication and relational deficits that mean you defend and explain and theyjust blame you anyway. Defending and explaining yourself to someone with BPD does not work. You still don't get any necessary communication from them.https://ajmahari.ca/sessionshttps://ajmahari.com - Online Store - Ebooks & morehttps://survivingbpaborderline.com - Podcasthttps://survivingbpdrelationshipbreakup.com Surviving BPD Relationship Breakup Podcast

Mothers Surviving a BPD Adult Child

Mothers Surviving a BPD Adult ChildA response to a Mother of an Adult Child suspected of having Borderline Personality Disorder. 13% of mothers (and fathers) of children, teens, an adult child with BPD are not personality disordered. BPD is not totally genetic. It is not known to what degree or not heritability plays a role. That's not the most important thing anyway. What's centrally important his how a mother or father (non-personality disordered) can survive their BPD adult child. What does that mean for parents? It often means therapy, that I offer, to learn as many coping strategies as possible to somewhat reduce stress and loss of self and loss of family life and relationships when so much stress, pain, and heartache is experienced in loving an Adult Child with BPD.https://ajmahari.ca/sessionshttps://ajmahari.com - Online Store - Ebooks & morehttps://survivingbpaborderline.com - Podcasthttps://survivingbpdrelationshipbreakup.com Surviving BPD Relationship Breakup Podcast
