The morning after tribal council NaOnka and Kelly indicate they are ready to quit. Holly, Chase, Jane and Sash make an agreement to vote out Fabio, Dan and Benry. NaOnka gives Chase the immunity idol and he says he's keeping it even if she changes her mind and decides to stay. At the reward challenge NaOnka and Kelly tell Jeff they want to quit. After some discussion Jeff tells them that they will go to tribal council that night and gives them the day to think about it. On to the challenge: teams must carry an 8-ft dummy through an obstacle course. Team member are tied together. NaOnka, Chase, Benry and Holly are the blue team while Jane, Fabio, Kelly and Sash are the yellow team. Dan was not picked and chooses to back the Blue team. Blue team wins reward: a movie night. Jeff tells the blue team that if one of them gives up their reward the tribe would get a new tarp and more rice. Holly gives up her reward. Others on the blue team felt NaOnka should have given up her reward since she is quitting. At tribal council the jury is astonished and upset that NaOnka and Kelly are quitting. Jeff extinguishes their torches and leaves them at tribal council as a reminder to them that they quit. After tribal council Brenda and Sash are feeling on the outs. The next morning the tribe surrounds their fire with wooden chests to keep the rain off of it. Holly starts rallying her tribe-mates to vote out Brenda and Sash. At the reward challenge the tribe is split into 2 teams. Blue team: Chase, Kelly, Jane, NaOnka & Fabio. Yellow team: Sash, Holly, Brenda, Dan & Benry. Teams must use barrels, planks and rope to cross a sand pit. 1st team across wins reward. Blue team wins. At the reward the blue team goes volcano surfing and enjoys some food. NaOnka pulls Fabio aside to get him in on voting off Brenda. Back at camp all the chests have burned up and most of the tribe's food and supplies have been destroyed. After returning from reward, Chase let's Brenda know that NaOnka is trying to vote her out. At the immunity challnge survivors must hold on to a rope over a pool and keep from falling in. Jane wins immunity. Back at camp Brenda is trying to look like she's not "scrambling" to keep from being voted out. At tribal council Brenda calls out NaOnka for jumping ship. Brenda becomes the 3rd member of the jury. After tribal council the tribe feels that Marty was too hard on Jane. Marty cooks up a plan to vote out Jane and flush out NaOnka's immunity idol. At the reward challenge teams are randomly split up and it ends up being men v. women. Chase was left out and must pick a side to win. He chooses the women. Teams must crash through obstacles, collect 3 keys and open 3 locks which will raise their flag. The men win reward and get to go on a zip-line ride and eat barbecue. At the reward, Marty tries to solidify his plan to vote out Jane. Back at camp Chase and the ladies discuss strategy and they want Marty out. At the immunity challenge Jeff shows the survivors a series of pictures that they must remember and display back to him one at a time. Brenda wins individual immunity. Back at camp there's a lot of discussion about who to vote off: NaOnka, Jane or Marty. At tribal council NaOnka goes ballistic and drops f-bombs all over the place. Jeff is speechless. Marty is trying to hang on. Fabio gets tree mail announcing merge. Espada is surprised the tribes are merging at their camp. Alina is trying to convince Espada to eliminate Marty. Old LaFlor tribe wants to eliminate Alina. New buffs are red. New tribe name is Libertad. Brenda and NaOnka plot to eliminate Marty and Alina. NaOnka hides the flour and steals food because she got the last tortilla. NaOnka tells Alina that everyone is trying to vote her out and shares her stolen food. The rest of the tribe discovers things are missing and Holly calls out NaOnka and the tribe gets upset with her. Alina covers up for her. Chase and Alina convince NaOnka to confess and she does but lies about why. Immunity challenge: hold up a steel bar with two handles. Last man and woman win immunity. Jane and Fabio win immunity. Back at camp Marty and Alina scramble to stay in the game. Sash asks tribe members to vote Alina off so he can keep his word to Marty. At tribal council Marty attacks Jane and Dan calls out NaOnka and Alina for stealing food. Alina is voted off. Dan thanks his tribe mates at Espada for not voting him off. Marty and Jill wonder why they were asked to vote for Jane rather than Kelly B. It was to flush out the idol. Marty and Jill are hoping to vote out Jane next. At the reward challenge survivors must jump in the air and try to throw a ball into the net while someone from the other tribe tries to block their shot. Fabio and Chase act as defenders. At one point Fabio pees in the pool. Espada wins the challenge and gets breakfast at a Nicaraguan farm. At LaFlor Jane is hoping her hard work keeps her in good standing with the younger tribe members. She catches 3 fishes and eats one herself in secret. At the immunity challenge Sash nominates himself to sit out of the challenge where tribe members must try to break tiles using a chute and cannon balls. Espada wins immunity. Back at the LaFlor camp Marty is convinced to give Sash the individual immunity idol to prove his trust in the tribe. After a heated council Jill becomes the 8th person voted off. At Espada Dan tells Holly that he’s thinking about quitting. Yve wonders aloud to Holly why she was left out of the blind-side on Tyrone. At LaFlor Marty and Jill are aware that the younger tribe is gunning for the old Espada members but Brenda feels that Jane is a good ally. At the reward/immunity challenge Jeff reveals that both tribes will go to tribal council and one person from each tribe will win immunity. Survivors must find a rope ring buried in the sand using a paddle and toss it in a basket strapped to their back then hang it on a post. Holly and Jill win immunity. Next Holly and Jill have to toss rope rings on hooks, first one to get 3 wins reward. Jill wins reward for LaFlor who will go to tribal council first and eat while sitting in on Espada’s tribal council. At LaFlor’s tribal council, Brenda accuses Marty of offering up Jane to be voted off. Marty explains he was only trying to figure out which way the tribe was going to vote. Marty takes a chance and does use his hidden immunity idol and the tribe splits the vote 3-Marty, 3-Kelly B. After a tie-breaker Kelly B. is voted off. At Espada’s tribal council LaFLor chows down on chicken and beef kabobs while Dan and Yve defend their right to be in the tribe. Before the vote, LaFlor is sent back to camp. Yve is voted off. Espada returns from tribal coucil and mourns the loss of Jimmy T. Marty feels like he's in control. At LaFLor NaOnka relishes her controlling position in the tribe. At the next reward challenge the tribes are mixed up. Holly and Brenda are randomly chosen as captains for the new tribes and must pick members from the opposite tribe to join them. New Espada - Holly, Tyrone, Yve, Dan, Naonka, Benry, Alina & Chase New LaFlor - Brenda, Sash, Jud, Kelly B., Kelly S., Marty, Jill, Jane The medallion of power is also removed from the game. Espada wins the reward - 2 chickens and a rooster. Back at both camps the tribes are having some tension getting used to each other. Marty tells his new tribe that he has an immunity idol. Naonka is having trouble dealing with the weather. At the immunity challenge tribe members are half-drowned but LaFlor comes out on top sending Espada back to tribal council where Tyrone is blind-sided and sent home. Espada doesn't like Jimmy T singing in the rain. Bay washed out at Espada. Jimmy T tries fishing. At LaFlor NaOnka and Brenda find the immunity idol. Alina and Kelly B go looking for idol too. NaOnka continues to berate Kelly B. At Espada Marty nominates Tyrone to lead the tribe during challenges. At the challenge LaFlor is surprised to see Jimmy J voted out. They use the medallion of power to get a two item advantage and win. Back at Espada Jimmy T talks about how great he is. LaFlor enjoys the spoils of victory. Chase finds a clue for the immunity idol and tells Brenda who tells him NaOnka already found it. Espada- Jimmy T calls out Marty for not being a team player. La Flor returns from tribal council and they all want to be friends now, NaOnka isn't buying it. Over at Espada Danny is limping around and people are noticing. Jill tries to convince Marty to tell everyone that he has the immunity idol. Back at La Flor, Fabio inhales some smoke after building a fire and acts like a pothead. We return to Espada where Marty tells the tribe that he has the idol and wants to use it after the merge. Some are buying into it others see it as a ruse. At the immunity/reward challenge La Flor decides not use the idol. Espada pulls ahead in the challenge but ends up losing because Tyrone wouldn't let others have a turn. Back at camp Espada, Jimmy T. is upset because he feels Jimmy J. is overlooking his strengths. At La Flor Kelly B. and NaOnka spot a clue for the immunity idol in a basket of fruit. NaOnka pushes Kelly B. to the ground and walks off with the clue. She shares the clue with Brenda and they can't figure out where the idol is hidden. At Espada's tribal council Jimmy J. admits to being one of the weaker tribe members and gets voted off. As Espada comes back from tribal council Holly tells the tribe that she feels bad about voting off Wendy. The next morning on day 4 Espada is down in the dumps due to lack of sleep and Jimmy Johnson organizes the team to build a better shelter. Back at La Flor, Sash forms a minority alliance with NaOnka with plans to bring in Brenda later. Over at Espada Holly freaks out and throws away some snails people were eating and then sinks Dan's $1600 alligator shoes in the ocean. The next day Holly confesses and apologizes to Dan but her tribe-mates are concerned about her mental well-being. Naonka over at La Flor flips out when one of her socks is missing and takes Fabio's extra pair without asking when he approaches her she flips out. Back at Espada Holly confides in Jimmy J that she is having 2nd thoughts. At the reward/immunity challenge each team must race through mud then find a ball in a haystack. Once 4 balls are found remaining team members must pass the ball on shields to each other and deposit it in a barrel. Using the medallion of power Espada gets a 1 ball advantage and wins the challenge. At the Espada camp a clue to the individual immunity idol is found in the fishing gear. Everyone starts to search for it. Jill figures out the clue and tells Marty and Dan where to look for the idol. Marty finds the idol. La Flor is split in their decision about who to vote off and at tribal council there's a firestorm among Fabio, Naonka, Brenda, Sash, and Shannon. Twist: teams separated young (La Flor - yellow) v. old (Espada - blue). Teams given choice between power or fire and supplies. Young team chooses fire and supplies. Espada gets medallion. Back at camp Espada, Jane makes fire with glasses. 1st challenge - fill bucket, solve puzzle, medallion gives extra bucket Espada doesn't use adv. and La Flor wins. Back at camp Espada, the tribe discusses voting off Jimmy Johnson (he admits to being one of the weak members) Tribal council - Wendy Jo voted off.
