Tales of a Marriage

This is a podcast script for a funny, entertaining and thoughtful conversation between husband (Christoph, german, 59 years old) and wife (name is Lale (pronounced LAH-leh, turkish origin, but grew up in florida, 54 years old). They live in heidelberg, germany, are married for 24 years, have 2 wonderful daughters and reflect about their marriage, which was mostly happy, but saw some turbulences, the cultural differences, the naivity when they started this journey together. Plus, for Lale there were some acceptance issues with christophs family and especially his mother elisabeth (she said once "Lale, Du musst mit deinen kindern deutsch sprechen"), Lale suffered from home sickness and nostalgia, after having moved to germany in 2022. They now share a good live in a beautiful town and reflect deep and happy about their time together.
