When Paths Cross: A Journey of Faith, Fashion, and Friendship-Adetola and Tinusuz
It was such a joy having these two incredible souls Dr Adetola @themsnella and Tinuke Susan @tinusuz in the studio with me—what a beautiful and inspiring conversation we shared. Both moved to the UK separately in 2011, unaware that their paths would eventually cross in the most unexpected yet meaningful way. It wasn’t until a few years ago that fate brought them together—through their local church community. From casual conversations to shared interests, a unique bond began to form.In January 2025, they found themselves gravitating toward each other more intentionally, united by their mutual love for fashion, styling, and creative expression. That connection blossomed into something special—not just a friendship, but a creative partnership. They began creating fun, stylish, and vibrant content together for social media, and now they’ve taken things a step further with their YouTube channel, LiveLoveAndEaveAt9PM—a beautiful mix of fashion, storytelling, and authenticity.Their journeys have been anything but linear—bittersweet and deeply human. Interestingly, both returned to Nigeria at different points in their lives, seeking deeper connection and healing before making their way back to the UK to rebuild and restart. Their stories are a reminder that sometimes you have to go back to your roots to truly find your way forward.I absolutely loved our time in the studio, hearing them reflect on their paths, passions, and purpose. I’m already looking forward to having them back in the studio again soon—because I have no doubt their journey is only just beginning.

Juggling it all: Motherhood, Career, and Life in the Uk - A candid conversation with Inem
Inem was born in the early '90s in Nigeria. Her late father served as a diplomat, while her mother works in healthcare in the UK, and Inem describes her as incredibly hardworking and supportive. She opens up about her journey to the UK, having spent her childhood in various European countries.Inem shares the joy of motherhood, her fulfilling career, and the deep love she has for her husband. As someone who is naturally introverted, she admits that it became especially challenging to hold onto that part of herself during pregnancy, especially given how isolating life in the UK can feel. However, since November 2024, Inem has embraced openness, sharing her inspiring daily routines through her captivating blog, videos, and reels. She balances this seamlessly with her career and family life. She often speaks glowingly of her siblings, particularly her sister, and never misses a chance to praise her husband. My interview with Inem in the studio was both fun and enlightening. Inem was one of the key women who supported and inspired me throughout my journey to create the Talk and Play podcast. I wish her nothing but the best as we continue to grow our friendship.
