Welcome to TBSA!This podcast arose as an idea between two docs: Luke and Jake. They have a passion for caring for burn patients, an appreciation of the unique pathophysiology of burn, and a desire to educate. During their training, they found that there were no podcasts dedicated to the care of burn victims. This podcast arose as an idea to leverage their passion and talents to help bridge this education gap to better prepare trainees to enter their burn rotations. For the person in active burn practice, this podcast will be a forum to provide up to date insights into burn care.

    During burn resuscitation, you may find an acutely delirious patient who has profound altered mental status after being in a structure fire or exposed to smoke.
