Tena is also the co-founder and CEO of Uniting Artist LLC which allows film industry peers to collaborate, educate, and elevate one another. Tena is now happily married to her fourth husband, but finding the right partner required her to heal the scars of narcissistic abuse in her previous relationships. This required a crucial but often overlooked step: self-forgiveness. Kat and Tena will talk about why loving, kind, & empathetic people are so vulnerable to abuse, and how it's more than possible to turn your most painful experiences into power.

Jon's childhood was shaped by familial trauma, mental illness, suicide, and addictions. He witnessed unspeakable violence as a Medivac pilot in Afghanistan, and then later experienced a tremendous amount of personal loss in a very short period of time. Jon lives with PTSD and survived one suicide attempt due to a miraculous event and intervention from his wife. Cristina's fourteen year (and counting!) journey of invention + entrepreneurship has been funded by her first passion working as a hair stylist. Despite the very high cost of pursuing this dream, Cristina refuses to give up for one simple but very important reason: her products make people happy, which is an essential but overlooked element of healing (and living.)

Her deep compassion and desire to serve stems from her own traumatic and abusive childhood which resulted in an eleven year struggle with anorexia. Kat and Danielle will discuss how eating disorders develop as a means of control in a chaotic world, the importance of trauma-informed care in every setting, and the powerful shift that occurs when the question changes from "what's wrong with you?" to "what happened to you?"

That’s All I Know So Far - Why NOT me?

Finding healing through holistic and spiritual modalities, Mariam leaned into her lifelong fascination with numbers by becoming a numerologist.
