Alaskan Lore of Inukuns & Cherokee Raven Mockers
The Alaskan frontier is full of mystery due to its size and the rugged terrain that keeps so much of the state uninhabitable. Makes you kind of wonder what lies within these vast landscapes...In this episode, we bring you a story of a man who claims to have seen short, hairy-faced men in the Alaskan wilderness that the locals call Inukuns that he somehow avoided, and when approached by some local hunters ended up shooting them because he thought they were still after him. Then we are back to the continental United States where we explore Raven Mockers, a witch-like entity eats the hearts of the sick and dying to tack a little life onto their own. Ep. 22 - Radium Girls and The Greatest Beer Run of All Time
"Trust me"......This can either be a phrase to gain collaboration or used by manipulative people and corporations to deceive.Unfortunately, those words proved fatal for dozens of people in New Jersey when they were hired to paint watch faces with radium, a highly toxic compound that made the face glow in the dark - although each was assured that it was 100% safe. Oh, and by the way, it was a requirement to use their lips to make the tips of the brushes pointy for greater precision. It didn't take long for the negative effects of radium poisoning to rear its ugly head. Women would stop menstruating, jaw were detaching and simple dental procedures would never heal. This wasn't the type of thing that took decades. Within 10 years over 50 people were dead, including the Radium Girls, who were crucial to ensuring someone was held accountable! That's not the only story in store though. Next we dive into the wild tale of Chickie Donohue, the retired marine who decided his buddies fighting in Vietnam deserved a beer. His story is one that you wouldn't believe if it wasn't documented.

Ep 21 - The Haunting at the Bootlegger House, Ri Ra's Irish Pub, and Tryon House Apartments
Back with another episode about haunted places you need to visit!.The haunted bootlegger house found in the 4th ward of Charlotte NC has a special hideaway closet for their 'spirits' to keep them hidden away during Prohibition. It's even on the market for sale if you can afford to purchase a million dollar home downtown. Its been updated to give a modern feel, but the ghosts of the past are still around turning on water at 3am.To keep with the theme, our next stop is at Ri Ra's Irish pub. Said to be the second oldest building in Uptown, the bar has a whole cast of entities from little girls writing their ABCs on the brick to strange men with mustaches. Nothing malicious but you might have guests joining you for an Irish fare and a pint of Guiness. Finally, the recently revamped Tryon House apartment is the sight of one of the largest tragedies in Charlotte history when several people died in the fire that still shows its evidence on the brick. Completely remodeled with below market rent rates, but again, you might have unwanted guests who haven't completely made their way to the other side.

Ep. 20 - The Missing Persons Case of Bobby Dunbar & Doppelgängers
"You look just like someone I know." Have you ever been told that you look like another person or that you have a doppelgänger running around town?In this week's episode, we take things back to the early 1900s where a young Bobby Dunbar went missing. After months of searching, the Dunbars 'think' they found their missing son a few states away. Turns out that it was never their son at all but none of this was confirmed until well after Bobby had passed away. Who the Dunbars took home was Bruce, the son of a single mother who could not afford to continue to fight the Dunbars in court. Such a sad story that altered families trees forever. And can you imagine being imprisoned for 17 years for a crime you never committed because the only evidence against you was someone misidentified you in a court of law - no fingerprints or DNA. Ep. 18 - Medical Miracles
Even in a world where medicinal advancements have come so far, there are still unexplained miracles that people experience where the end seems all but certain and still they slipped out of the jaws of death.John was a normal 18 year old farm kid who had BOTH arms cut off while working the fields. He managed to call 911 using a pencil and nestled in the tub as not to get any blood on his mom's new carpet, Johns story doesn't end there! A Dr in Minneapolis reattached his arms and John travels the country talking about his story, struggles with depression and is even working on a patent to help others with disabilities.Darco Sangermano, a 28 year old Italian, was caught in a crossfire of stray bullets on New Year's Eve where he was struck behind his right eye and lodging in his nasal cavity. He was rushed to the hospital due to heavy blood loss but while waiting to be seen by the doctor he sneezed - and the bullet came out of his nose!Next the case of Duorijie, a 76 year old Chinese farmer, was stabbed in the head during a violent mugging. The 4 inch blade stayed in his brain for 26 years but he lived to tell the tale - although suffered from a couple decades of severe headaches.Last but not least we talk about a woman who lost her sight.....but not for all her personalities. Ep. 17 - Krampus & Frau Perchta the Christmas Witch
Merry Christmas ya filthy animals! Although we hope Santa found you this year, we're here to inform you of what REALLY happens if you're not a good girl or boy. FORGET a lump of coal. These stories will actually scare kids into being good.Krampus is a half-man, half goat monster used as leverage for centuries to frighten children into being good, or he will come get them. This counterpart to St Nicholas was sent from his lair in "hel" to punish the naughty children or even bring them back home with him for an eternity of punishment. However, there is an even older deity - Frau Perchta. In the beginning, she was a beautiful goddess but after being ostracized by the Catholic Church for being of pagan decent, she turned dark and craved vengeance. Her evolution turns her into a haggard woman in rags that will remove your innards and replace it with broken glass, rocks and hay. She hates a dirty home and lazy kids but just might overlook things if you leave an offering to her the night of January 5th!

An older man, bearded and rough appearance from the early 1900s has been seen hiking the same trails in silence for decades - never acknowledging the passerby's.
