Hypnobirthing Helps Release Fears Around Childbirth Interview With Tiffany Timmins

Tiffany Timmins Bio:I am a certified Consulting Hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists, since 2012; certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, since 2010; and Birth Doula since 2020 through the HypnoBirthing Institute. I've been attending births as a doula since 2012.It was the birth of my second child, my daughter that changed my whole view on what is actually possible for birthing women.  It is possible to have a confident, calm, and empowered birthing experience...and that the cookie-cutter model of intervention-based, and time-directed procedures are often unnecessarily impressed upon moms, families and babies. Using hypnosis techniques during the birth of my daughter taught me so much about how great and powerful our minds are, when utilized with intention.  I decided that I could probably use these tools to help other people with their stress, worries, doubts, fears, past traumas, habits and patterns, by getting certified as a consulting hypnotherapist.  And that's what I do now!  I work with individuals to help them release mental blocks that have stood in their way for a short time, or for many years.  Goals become more achievable and individuals’ true potentials are easier to attain.  Confidence and commitment are naturally developed through these hypnotic techniques, and it can feel quite comforting and exciting at the same time!Contact Tiffany: The Root Empowerment Center, LLC www.metrodetroithypnosis.com [email protected] Your Hosts: Dr. Keith Brennan Rob SteinSummary:In this episode of the Achieving Peak Performance podcast, hosts Rob Stein and Dr. Keith Brennan engage with Tiffany Timmons, a hypnobirthing childbirth educator and consulting hypnotist.
