Welcome to the Bandying Show
This is my space to talk openly about chronic illness, mental health, joy, resilience, and all the strange, funny, deeply human bits in between. For more than 20 years, I kept my autoimmune disorder mostly in the background. Quiet. Offstage. But it shaped so much of my life, and this show is my way of finally bringing that story into the open with honesty, humour, and a bit less pretending. This podcast is not just about managing symptoms or getting through the hard days. It is about finding joy in the middle of the mess. I want to talk about chronic health and mental health in a way that feels real, useful, and alive. That means we will go to serious places, but we will also talk about music, comedy, Gen X nostalgia, the absurdity of modern life, and whatever else helps keep us sane when life gets weird. The bigger goal of this show is to create a conversation that feels more human and less polished. If you live with a chronic condition, support someone who does, or you are simply trying to build a more joyful and resilient life, I hope The Bandying Show gives you something honest, comforting, and maybe even a little funny along the way.
