In this 6 episode series, Brett Coleman documents the behind the scenes of a student run short film titled Burnout. This film dives into themes of feeling burned out at a job and being bored with the repetition that comes from an office job. Through these 6 episodes, Brett sits down with a different member of the Burnout crew and gets some insight on what they tackled in their role of filming, getting to better understand their interests and experience, and how the culmination of many different minds coming together to create a uniform final product.

    Abby Strangfeld, Lead Actor.

    In this final episode, we sit down with the lead actor from this ruction who portrays the character Logan, Abby Strangfeld. Abby is a close friend of Ash's and became involved very early on in the genesis of Burnout.     Ryan Evans, Creative Organizer.

    In this episode, we sit down with Ryan Evans who is a senior at VCu and is set to graduate this December with their degree with Media Production. Ryan has worked on all 3 short films in our Capstone course this semester. He has spent time creating the Pitch Decks and more for these groups.     Ankur Patel, Composer.

    In this episode, we sit down with the composer for Burnout, Ankur Patel. Ankur Composed the Original Soundtrack to this short film. These compositions really give the story and overall feel of the movie a lot of depth.     Lily Copeland, Producer.

    In this episode, we converse with the Producer behind Burnout, Lily Copeland. Lily is currently in her final semester of Media Production and is set to graduate in December. Lily worked very diligently ads a facilitator for locations, scheduling and so much more that helped the production get to the finished product. In this episode, hear Lily's inspirations, their feel for trying to get the best out of everyone she works with, and more on this episode.

    Ash Sigdel, Director and DP.

    In this episode we sit down with Ash Sigdel, a senior at VCU who is set to graduate this December in Media Production. Ash was the main visionary behind the production and got the idea for Burnout from a conversation with his friend Josh who wrote the script.
