    Accountability 101 for Woman

In this episode, we’re getting real about something that doesn’t get talked about enough: women taking accountability in relationships. This isn’t about bashing women — it’s about growth, self-awareness, and breaking patterns that keep us stuck. We talk about:* Why dating the same type of man over and over (just in different fonts) isn’t “bad luck”* The impact of moving away from values, culture, and intention in relationships* How childish behavior and “princess syndrome” (always needing to be right) can sabotage connection* Repeating the same mistakes and avoiding self-reflection* The hard truth: sometimes… you might be the wrong woman in that situation* Why “testing” your partner creates more damage than trust* How unresolved trauma shows up in how we love* The importance of supporting your partner emotionally and mentally — not just expecting it* Letting go of the “you better than me” mindset* And why real leadership in relationships starts with YOUThis episode is about accountability without shame — just honesty. If you’ve ever felt stuck in the same cycle or blamed everyone else, this conversation might shift your perspective.🎙️ Tune in, reflect, and let’s grow.

    Existing between Worlds

Episode 4 is one of the most honest and eye-opening conversations yet. This week, I sat down with Damii, cofounder of Hornet Swag, a Black-founded organization at California State University, Sacramento dedicated to highlighting fashion, culture, and Black entrepreneurs on campus. Together, we unpacked her experience growing up as a Nigerian woman, navigating identity, and encountering racism and colorism for the first time.Damii opens up about how those experiences shaped the way she sees herself, moves through predominantly white spaces, and exists within college culture at Sac State. We also dive into the importance of community, representation, and creating spaces where Black students feel seen, celebrated, and empowered. This episode connects deeply to the heart of the podcast: healing, identity, self-worth, and learning how our lived experiences shape the way we love ourselves and interact with the world around us. It’s vulnerable, reflective, and necessary. 🤎

    Are Situationships Avoidable?

Are situationships really unavoidable… or are we just ignoring the red flags? 👀In this episode, I’m getting real about what situationships actually are, why so many of us end up in them, and the truth nobody likes to say out loud: a lot of the time, they can be avoided.I talk about:✨ The difference between genuine connection vs. convenience✨ Why people stay in unclear relationships longer than they should✨ How lack of boundaries keeps you stuck✨ The role of self-worth and emotional availability✨ Signs you’re in a situationship (even if you don’t want to admit it)I’m also sharing my own perspective and lessons I’ve learned about over-giving, being “too understanding,” and realizing that clarity isn’t something you have to beg for—it’s something you choose. If you’ve ever found yourself confused, overthinking, or accepting less than what you actually want… this episode is for you.

Are you too nice? Or is that your only option

In Episode 1, I talk about growing up as a dark skin woman and how a lack of representation shaped my self-worth and ideas of love. I share how overgiving and people-pleasing led to imbalance and why I’m learning to unlearn that mindset. This is the start of my healing journey, and maybe yours too.
