What do authors, flowers, and musicians all have in common? Here in The Concrete Garden we believe that it's the ability, desire, or better yet the need to reach out and touch the sun while being ever so anchored by their roots. This podcast is all about books, bars, and botanicals. The Concrete Garden is a melodic book club comparing and contrasting a novel, poem or short story to a body of music or album with emphasis on Black writers and musicians.
