Connections Cafe 26.08.25: Taxi Talk
This August at the Connections Café…We were delighted to welcome the marvellous Eric Edwards — former London cabbie turned TV and film support artist! 🚕🎬 Eric gave a brilliant talk, sharing colourful stories from his days behind the wheel and behind the scenes. From cab-life characters to moments on set, it was a fascinating and often funny insight into two very different worlds.We were also joined by Than from Two Mindful Bees, who spoke about his inspiring mindfulness social enterprise and the importance of slowing down in a fast-paced world. 🐝🧘♂️🧁 As always, the Café was free to attend with delicious cake and refreshments on offer. Huge thanks to everyone who donated — your support helps us keep this special, volunteer-led space running.✨ A big thank you to our brilliant guests and to everyone who came along.
