The Dinner Party Radio Letters

How do we deal with a world that is sometimes too much with us, sometimes not nearly enough? These letters synthesize my social curiosity and professional coaching practice and I deliver them in written and oral form—this is the oral, like Alistair Cooke's Letter from America... richardnash.substack.com

The Dinner Party Radio Letters, No. 3

Success and failure are not binaries, not even really oppositions. They beget each other, they turn into each other. I explore this through reflecting on writing books and running long distances. Poker, Wim Wenders, Heidegger. Why giving up is often a great idea. (The audio version of my Dinner Party Letter from 2023) This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit richardnash.substack.com

The Dinner Party Radio Letters No. 1

An occasional, indeed infrequent, dispatch on the pleasures and perils of being alive, derived from my experiences as a coach in these present times, and also incorporating my past lives as theater director, book publisher, start-up founder. I possess an odd quirk of writing as if I were speaking and speaking as if I were writing, and so these letters come written and spoken. (Initially I neglected the spoken element, so this dispatch I'm recording after the initial publication of the written letter, in February 2021.) This is a public episode.
