"But they have been with us for so long..." These words I hear often, and I share a story about John who had an employee that was not helping the company but wrecking it without John knowing. This is a hard topic for leaders because it's hard to address what has been comfortable for so long. True servant leaders set a high standard by coaching a high expectation and this applies to the person who has been their 10 days and the person who has been their 1000 days.
