Devontez "Tez" Walker is an American professional football wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kent State and the University of North Carolina.Walker was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and attended West Charlotte High School. During his high school career, he recorded 48 receptions for 923 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, he amassed 36 tackles, ten pass deflections, and six interceptions. Initially, Walker committed to play college football at North Carolina Central University.In 2021, Walker transferred to Kent State University. As a sophomore in 2022, he played 12 games, recording 58 receptions for 921 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning First-team All-MAC honors. Following the 2022 season, Walker transferred to the University of North Carolina. Despite initial eligibility challenges, he played eight games in 2023, tallying 41 receptions for 699 yards and seven touchdowns. After the season, he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. Walker was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round, 113th overall, of the 2024 NFL Draft.
